@@brojack1378 based on % Malaysia is the highest in the world
Nigeria Vs Msia is not even fair comparison
Even add in Nigeria army only 200k extra
While Msia actually have more than 2mil Staffs salary being paid including Contract Staff
Not to mention we have Pension system while Nigeria dont
Almost 1mil pensioner being paid and some having multiple pension consider as 1 staff
I don't think U understand the Math here
To make it simple Msia on the road of Bankruptcy
There will be huge Liquidity problems next 10 years

720k public sector employees at only 0.3% of the population is too small to support Nigeria. Malaysia public sector is 5% of its population, and Singapore is 6.5% and Thailand stands at 4%

U need to check the definition in each country for civil servant. In UK, health, local authorities, police, armed forces and teachers is not considered as civil servant. Most country exclude teachers, health, armed forces, police as civil servant. I dont know why Malaysia using different definition of civil servant as it can create misunderstanding if we compare directly the data with other country.

Increase the salaries of civil servants in Nigeria & they will push for greater development of the nation.
Also, civil servants generally spend bulk of their income in the local economy.
