That caught me off guard tbh...
Sam is far softer then he lets on, like a dad. But he has his moments of kindness when he feels the macho wont fit
You can almost hear the pain in his voice when he said it. Like, it wasn't witty. It's like he was saying "This is for you, Kenny."
That was probably the coolest thing I have ever seen Sam do.
Achriman got shot in the head when it was done, I was shot in the heart. 😢
To be fair, Achriman did kind of set himself up for that one. Wasted about a minute of his last breath mocking Sam's love of one-liners and puns. Sam retaliates with an in-joke that he would only get if Achriman hadn't killed Kenny at the drop of a hat. Achriman died as he deserved, confused and bewildered.
I love how everyone else is all kitted out Military style and Sam just looks like someones dad who got lost and stumbled onto a battlefield. Side note this game looks really really good.

That ending was beautiful.
Seeing Brand be shot off into a portal via missile travel and then Sam and his friends just shooting the shit around a campfire, reminiscing about their adventure, poking fun at each other, remembering absent friends and drinking a nice cold one in their honor.
I honestly can’t think of a better way to end a Seriously badass adventure.

Serious Sam has always been a budget shooter that's goal was to push the limits of enemies on screen at once. They set their scope and they blew it out of the water with the legion system, seriously impressive and I hope they release it for other uses
I really liked Lord Archrimond's dialogue. This game is a master-class in satire while still having its moments of straight-up coolness.

Nah some people just don't get the point of being overly corny. Anyone can enjoy this, some people just decide to whine that it's not serious enough. They even did that with Doom Eternal, because apparently the _slightly_ more cartoonish graphics than '16 are the worst sin humanity has ever committed

Exactly. The gunplay is FUCKING FANTASTIC! Dual-wielding is something I hope they bring back and make permanent because it was so fun to just fuck Kleers up with dual double-barrels. Just a shame that the game is pretty rough around the edges technical wise. I'm sure people feel a bit burned about it and write the game off because of that. Sure, the cutscenes are cheesy as shit, but honestly it gives it that nice charm to it and I looked forward to hearing more from them, not as much as getting back into fights, but the entire package was great.
Final boss was pretty disappointing though.

Ive always got the impression that the developers know this series is corny and crappy as hell but that’s why we all love it so much. Normally id complain but i cant bring myself to dislike this game
yeah im 34 i remember the first few titles and it spent a short time being a fps benchmark game. you needed the latest alienware tech 700mhz.
This was a game made in Croatia on a budget that was definitely below 1 million (Serious Sam 3 was made on roughly 500k). They KNEW it was going to be crap compared to Call of Duty (a franchise that literally uses thousand dollar bills to wipe their asses with) but didn't care lol.

Normally the flaws of this game would be worth complaining about... if it was a AAA game, but it's not. Croteam is a small group of people (NOT a massive multi-million dollar studio). And because of those reasons, I don't care about the flaws, I only care about having a fun time

I just want to thank you for putting this up I remember when the first serious and came out long time ago I can never beat the two-headed or I think it was a three-headed dragon you fight in the Japanese level anyway it's a silly ridiculous over-the-top first person shooter that's just a blast to play and I'm glad there's a part for it thanks for posting the play through anybody has ever played serious sam part 4 please check out the other three so you can grow with the character hes awesome
This brings me nostalgia back when I had a ps2 I would play Serious sam the next encounter all day and discovering secrets but now I don't regret buying Serious sam on ps4 it's just amazing kicking alien ass and hearing Sam's one liners

the graphics were never simplistic. In fact, it the one of the aspects of this franchise. Serous Sam games always looked high tech in graphics for its time respectively, very detailed and photo realistic, while the game itself and story were C-movie like, which is why i loved it. But this one? I dont know what happened but the graphics here are awful

You know, it's probably a good thing the graphics, voicing, and cinematics aren't really good, because then we'd all be upset about the half-assed story. Instead, it's just a game that had the choice of optimizing one trait, so they chose gameplay.

The game looks so damn fun and I would love to try it.
I played the first one and I loved that game, but they had to optimize it a lot better and seeling it at atleast 30$ not 40$ with high end specs needed and stability problems.I saw a playthrough of an old competitive player of Serious Sam and he had lot of crashes and frame drops on a top PC in this game but he loved it.
I hope they sell, and did sell, enough copies to make them satisfied for a new Serious Sam game in the future.

@I swear to god she's 18 The "Legion mechanic" has been tested and exposed as a visual trick, not a real gameplay mechanic. It's mainly used in the intro sequence, which also happens to be the game's most polished scene. The quality of this game is solely because the people behind it are trying to cut corners.

Poor Ugh-Zan, what did they do to ya? I still remember the 1. time you fought him in the the very first game....... this iteration here is a big laugh compared to it. XD
But it's so epic! I think they buffed him now, because I had a hard time fighting him.
seems ok to me, remember, in this battle Ugh Zan VI was not just fighting Sam, but the entire human resistance at once. IV and III were fighting Sam alone since he is the last one left by then. This game is a prequel to the prequel and at this point Sam isn't even on Mental's radar yet. Ugh Zan does not yet consider Sam to be a threat, that's why for most of the fight Ugh Zan is busy crushing the human army instead of focusing on Sam and why Ugh Zan was unimpressed with Brand's "offering".

Serious Sam 1 i played this game, philips hopper sv20(diagonale 4.5 meters) on a matratze, ly on a ground 5 hours played, no pain no chair. Perfect.
I actually really dig the last boss being a Shadow of the Colossus type boss
The cut scenes look like there from a TV show where they just poorly animated bits for it. Like Level Up but a higher budget

I had to check, but this game was devoloped by Croteam which also made the Talos Principle. I already thought they reused assest. Especially the music at 21:25 is a give away.
