He once withdrew his entire collection from a major store chain after learning plus sized people were purchasing it. He also refused to ever make plus sizes of his clothes. He was known for his quote that went something along the lines of "Act like you're wearing pink but don't actually wear it" or some shit. He HATED the color pink, so anyone wearing pink was doing so as an additional "Fuck you". One of the BIGGEST protests was actually Pedro Pascal's look. Karl HATED Shorts, long socks, etc - so Pedro combined aspects of outfits that Karl hated most, and turned it into the slutty dad look we were gifted with at the Met Gala. A LOT of folks who went to the Met Gala did so with the intent of dressing up in all the ways Karl hated people dressing, as well as the plus sized folk deciding to dress up in everything he never wanted to see of his on their gorgeous, full figures. Fuck Karl, and props to everyone who went to that Met Gala with that same message in mind.
