- Łukasz Fabiański remains hopeful that West Ham United can turn around their UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie with Bayer Leverkusen when the sides meet again at London Stadium next week, despite admitting being extremely frustrated with the manner in which his team fell to 2-0 defeat in the first leg.

Fab had a great game and lets be honest we'd have lost 4-0 plus without his contribution, at least at 2-0 if we can score first we can make a game of it still
If it wasn't for fabianski's saves the game would have ended 5-0.

What Xabi has squeezed out of the top 6 team, making them almost 2003/4 Arsenal is amazing and equally if not more impressive to what Mourinho did with Porto and Inter in the Champions League. I can't wait for next season to end, so Xabi can replace Ancelotti. If we would have had the likes of Bergwein today instead of having to resort to 5-3-2 we give a much better account, let alone missing Bowen, Alvarez, and Areola. We fell short. The injury to Bowen fucked us. We missed a trick (again) by not rolling the dice in Jan.

Watching a lot of Leverkusen games this was another day in the office for them. West Ham defended really good so the game could go either way. Not an expert but it seems LK could bring in fresh power and West Ham could not match that maybe? WH did great but also LK win was well deserved i would say.
