I very much doubt that, Alonso left Liverpool when he was too good for them and went off to smash European football at the top level
@@seemourbutts6679It was about funds. Rafa was ruthless when it came to selling players but his transfer budget depended on it. Alonso wanted to stay, but Rafa wanted money to buy a box to box midfielder as well to solve the issue against low block teams which cost the title, it was big mistake
I respect that he has loyalty to his players, it shows that he is a man that can be trusted
the reason he's shifted the mentality of the club is because he's a winner, look at his playing career
