- In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
All of the bales are still on the ground, so our first task is to gather them all up. The hay can be stacked away in the new shed with the telehandler, then we'll start using the truck and telehandler to get the silage bales. We're not keeping the silage, it's all being sold, along with some grain and more pigs. With the money that we make we're buying some more land and ploughing up the edges in our standard treatment of new fields so we've lots of extra acres for farming!

Hi frithagr awesome timelapse dude. I really am greatful for all the time you put into these videos. I did a bit of research for you on fertilizing grass fields and it doesnt increase the yield or speed the growth up at all. Love the timelapses. Keep going :)

Yes it has no impact what so ever. The only reason it changes to the darker colour is because it is a field so when you go over it with a fertilizer or sprayer it changes because its still tecknicly soil.

I've seen a lot of conflicting statements about fertilizing grass fields, so I did some experiments to find out the deal (FS17 ver 1.4.2). My results are that an unfertilized grass field has the lowest yield. But, the act of mowing the field adds a single level of fertilization (!), so a subsequent mowing yields about 20% more (all mowings were after the grass field reached 2nd stage harvest -- dark yellow with flowers). Adding new fertilization stages increased the yields. I discovered that you can use the weeder on a freshly mowed field to increase the fertilization (and yield as well). A fully fertilized grass field (level 3 -- dark blue) yields the most amount of grass, although the act of mowing always reverts the field to fertilization level 1 (light blue). A lot of this surprised me.

how come when i try fill my tipper with seed it wont let me im also using the placeable refill tank just like yours
I'm not sure, I couldn't fill a seeder from those placeable ones the other day so I'm not sure if something has been changed, I'll let you know if I find out anything new

You don't need telehander to load the trailer with bales , you can go near the bales and it's auto loading

I'll keep that one as grass as it's nice and close to the sheep. Once we increase the sheep numbers I think we'll be glad of it!

Firthgar why don't you have an water transport tank at the pig and the sheep? Save time that the tank to the sheep then back the pigs.

I don't think there is a shed tall enough that you can unload those huge stacks of bales into.

why I can't unload with the transport runner ual? I got the mod and then I press Z to unload but nothing happened. Please give a fast answer. (sorry for my bad english). :)
Make sure you've got the unload side selected first and double check with the help menu up, some autoloaders use different buttons. Also, if the load isn't full you need to press X (work mode) again to stop it from being in loading mode first

So I am from the bale collection congregation... You should donate us some bales. You know for a good cause... Wouldn't it be tragic if something where to burn all that hay? For the low, low donation of 9 bales per harvest we could asure divine protection for your crop.... (we take the tenth of your earnings like any good church....)

That's as much debt as we're going into, I too didn't think it was very realistic so it won't be happening again!
