- In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
There is a lot of baling to get done today, as well as collecting all the bales. We have crops to sell, silage to sell and greenhouses to take care of. Most of all today though, we've got ploughing to do. Two large Jympa ploughs on the Deutz and the Fendt and it's still questionable if we'll get it all finished, as we're buying field 5 today and that's a LOT of ground to plough up!

Wow! You own everything on the North side of the road now. I'm going to have to check out the Jympa Ploughs. I must have missed them on ModHub -- I'll look again. I bought Field 6 just for the view -- it's gorgeous! :)
I like them, technically they're subsoilers rather than ploughs, but even though they don't turn the ground over, they still do much the same job

Hehe, oh yes, massive sugar beet harvest, although I'm thinking we'll do it next and not do the fields south of the road!
I'm with the naysayers on the sugar beet harvest. They take too long to harvest and the equipment is incredibly expensive versus the actual return you get from the sale of them. With the FS 17 economy they'd be worth almost nothing before you got even a quarter of a crop that size sold! Just my two cents, love the videos!
I've had a few comments like that, I'm actually thinking I'll do the beet harvest next with just the land north of the road, then do the full harvest on the rest. I'd like to have a large beet harvest before we leave and I'll probably lease three harvesters and see if it's at all profitable to do it like that!
nice vid as always frith! but please, dont do sugar beets all over the map. it will take around 2 or 3 episodes minimal to harvest those. i dont think that will be very enjoyable. but in the end if you want to do that you should, because its your game😉
I'm thinking I'll do it just on the fields we own now, that way it won't run too long. I'll also be leasing the harvesters, not buying, so I'm not sure how it's going to work out in the end!

i would advise not to pl,ant the oil seed after you ploughed. Why? because they take away one harvest before you have to plough again. it would have been better to plant the oilseed radish before the ploughing. If you do it now you will loose one harvest before you have to plough again.
For field 5 and 9, you might want to consider running two combines.
Frith don't work that Big Bud too hard its someone of a collectors item
frithgar you should check out the plow in the big bud dlc you will like it it puts the salford to shame
When you drive next to the bale stacks, they appear directly on the trailers. Is it special trailers? Because it doesn´t do it for me.

i said when you have small narrow or bob tailwr you dont have to have beacons and hazards you use them on every peice unless your bob tailing (with no trailer)
So I've heard there are some issues with rattlesnake valley. Road trains don't really work due to all the fences and objects looks really nice but not practical. I also have seen a lot of let's plays showing the conveyors don't work on the map.
Road trains will be interesting getting round the fences, if conveyors don't work we'll have to find new ways of doing things, could prove very interesting!

can you please do buy a real plough. The jympa isnt really a plough its a deep cultivator that you use to loosening the ground. for when u seed like canola or maize. love your timelapse keep up the good work :)

Great vid but why do you plant oil seed radishes then cultivate them in if there is no harvester for them so I don't get why do you plant them I guess
Winding pack 24 oil seed raddish isnt a fruit. its for harvesting, it gives you 1/3 of sprayer parts

Winding pack 24 radishes dont grow in the usa our climate is to moist we use chemtrails and rotators

Yep, that's why I got the first plough and then tested it on the Deutz to see if it could handle it :)
The fields are so big and your camera is very zoomed out it looks like ur playing with rc's

I do sometimes, it's just quicker to not do it and you don't need to for completing a mission, don't worry though, it won't happen many more times as there won't be much in the way of missions done for a while now
