Patsy Cline - Crazy (Music Video) [HD]

- Released on October 16, 1961, "Crazy" was Patsy Cline's follow-up to her comeback smash "I Fall to Pieces". This Willie Nelson-penned tune would end up becoming Cline's biggest hit and signature song, vaulting to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, and to #2 on the Country charts. Cline's producer, Owen Bradley, considered "Crazy" his best work. And I agree. Between Patsy's great vocals and Bradley's always-innovative production style, it's no wonder why "Crazy" has realized such longevity and renown. I made this video on Patsy Cline's birthday, September 8, but due to college commitments the video could not be released until today. I dedicate this video to Patsy on what would have been her 89th birthday. Love you, Patsy!

Who is here in 2024
I'm here 😭
My theme song!
Remonising June 1st 2024
No one.
I sang this to a girl one night...She told me she loved me and we were engaged before breakfast.. ❤️
dragoste pe stomacul gol nu merge 😀
Crazy!!!😂😂😂
And then you woke up!
Great song by patsy cline makes me want to cry my girls dead now 😢
My smile HURTS
The female country singers today don't even hold a flicker of a candle to her.
Hello Lana how are you doing today??
Art is limitless and Patsy wouldn't agree with that
Wories...why do I let myself worry???
Wondrin' what in the world did I do???
Thanks to Willie Nelson for this beautiful şong, ño one could sing it like Patsy Cline what ã voice.. Considered the most listened to şong on a jukebox💫💖💫
And they have no CLASS or dignity
No auto tone no synthesizer. Just pure talent.
The best kind of Music.🖤
Absolutely 💯😢
I'd love to see half the singers today go up against this pure raw beautiful voice!
@@MM-463they can't pure and simple they just can't!
@MM-463 For real!!! Nowadays, singers can't even sing their own songs without an earpiece, prerecorded song, & then only lipsync to it 👎
Never will there be another Patsy Cline.
I am a 64 year old black woman - this is one of my favorite songs. What a goddess.
Troll
My aunt loved her some Patsy
yeah
I'm 57 year old Sveed Viking man. Sweden. I agree....God Bless
one of the best country albums ever made was by Ray Charles
My beloved wife of 45 years used to sing this to me, miss her terribly! Would give all that I have to hear her sing it one more time!
❤🥹
I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Marriages, nowadays, don't last nowhere near as long because people are ready to bail out at the 1st sign of trouble. There is no: "For better or worse, in sickness & in health, till death do us pat" anymore 💔. Glad you had 45yrs with her ❤
Thank you that was very kind of you!
To hear her voice just one more time, even if she was scolding you,I know. UK 🇬🇧
These songs WERE AND ARE THE BEST EVER OF ALL TIMES
The great Patsy Cline, when she sings it sends chills
Brenda Lee makes three.
I get goose bumps from hearing her sing. Her voice was so incredible.
yes it does
That's me 😂❤❤❤
Love love Patsy Cline! Gone too soon!
Women singers with deeper vocal ranges always sound the best. There's a sultriness that touches your soul.
That's a good word to describe her particular vocals!!
Great description. You need to check out 12 year old Angelina Jordan's version. She's the only singer that could do this song justice.
Sex
Hello cannon how are you doing
@@elisabethvalade9866 I forgot to add that Patsy's voice also has that cry in it that also tugs at my heart.
Written by Willie Nelson, Floyd Cramer on the piano, and Patsy's incredible voice. This is pure Heaven.
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song
Yes, her voice is phenomenal! No wonder this was such a hit!
Tak lekko i dźwięcznie zaspiewane anielski glos
absolutely lovely....minimum music in the background -- just THAT voice........
Acompanhada pelo grupo vocal Jordanaires, aquele que muito trabalhou com Elvis...
Canção que está em meu playlist para sempre...
Maravilhosa!
Boas vibrações para todos!✌
One of the greatest, pure voices since recording was available
I absolutely agree. This is definitely one of the greatest performances ever!
One night a few years ago, I was sitting in the dark in my living room with the radio on softly and this song came on. Suddenly my canary who was sound asleep in his covered cage came to life and trilled in stunning harmony with this fantastic singer. It was a miracle moment!
Hey how are you 😊
I’ve had that happen at times when I play my guitar in my yard...birds will come and sing. Music is the universal language that all creatures seem to understand...it’s incredible when it happens!
In Santana's new documentary he said when he was a child his father played some violin to him and birds replied to his melodies while he played and told young Carlos that if you can communicate with animals through music you can also get to people's hearts playing. Music is a universal language
birdies got good taste in music lol
😢her vocals an lyrics❤@@MarcosBryant-gk1jv
The Great Willie Nelson wrote this beautiful song and truly only Patsy Cline could do it justice...at least in my opinion.
Did you ever hear Willie sing it? 😊
Anyone who listens to Hank Williams and all of his sons as well as Johnny Cash etc.. don't really have a choice as to whether or not they respect Patsy Cline.
Yes
Wow! Good info
Yes I’ve heard Willy wanted for he to sing it. I’ve heard Willy sing it but not as good as Patsy.
I'am a 66 year old Scottish lad ,and still love her voice and songs in 2024.
I'm 56 and thank God my mother played all her songs.
I love you mama.
RiP to both❤
An so do I...( same age too )....
No auto tune. No enhancement. Just tons of talent. I drive by her childhood home regularly. Always consider her voice one of the best. Period.
Pasty Cline. Just WOW. Her voice was so beautifully crystal clear and filled with such heartfelt emotion.
I've seen her in the future I hope? Live in an 800 audience, high acoustic, fire place lit? Holding a hand, oh my hands.? Yes I honestly I agree, you in that red dress? Cool.
If you keep doing that, I can't even edit it right? You are flirting? Why? I'm like way average, not worth the hassle for you? Or you are being a friend, but you happened to be a crush? Idk about you but I am so good on being single with friends during this, because I am single. Probably way easier as a couple? No, not you.. gosh you are persistent? Namaste
Original! ❤
She was taken from us way too soon….❤❤❤
Charlie didn’t appreciate the woman he had…..
I’ve always loved patsy Cline since my teens. I love her still. She’s beautiful.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
My Mom always told me that I'm an old soul.....I just love good music and this song just speaks to me. I love how she takes her time .... and the lyrics are simply beautiful.
One of the greatest female vocals ever
Her husband/manger helped Willie Nelson write this song. Even he didn't realize what a hit it would be!
So Willie Nelson wrote one of the great songs ever written, 63 years ago! Crazy!
Thanks for the information ❤
Patsy was and always will be the QUEEN of country in my opinion nobody came close to being as flawless as her She will live on forever in her music 🎶 and thank God we have it Her voice makes me feel like I'm floating on air. HEAVENLY 😇
Brenda Lee is very close in my opinion but there was so many of lady singer's with what has to be god given talent
Yes, Patsy was the Queen and that voice is so wonderful and spectacular. Anyone would turn around and stop and listen to her sing I am sure. I know I would and I would be stunned and mesmerized to hear her sing it in person!
@@nigelgoodyer5865Yes, Brenda Lee was quite close!
She's as much a pop blues-jazz singer - her appeal can't be contained within any one genre.
June Carter?
60 years ago yesterday since her death.... but her music still lives on. Timeless. Timeless seems to be something music nowadays doesn't have. One of the many things music today doesn't have.
Rest easy, Patsy.
I wish I had the chance to have meet her ......just have to watch and listen to her amazing voice
God, another golden icon taken way too soon by a tragedy. As a rock'n'roll musician, and as a musician in general, I have such gratitude and appreciation towards her music. While the harmony and rhythm may sound simple, to have it all pieced together, especially with the quiet playing, is something to awe over. I wish we still had music and musicians like this. It truly was one of the golden eras for music. Thank you Patsy for everything you did for the music world.
My mum died 60 years ago. Two beautiful people went to join the angels ❤❤❤❤
Wow❤❤❤
and still in so many movies too.
Thank you, Willie, for writing such a great song.
I couldn't agree more. Willie's song is amazing and Patsie is just class
Willie is the man when it comes to western songs🙌👊👏

Patsy Cline one of the BEST country music singers ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🇨🇦 She's an OPEN INVITATION
My mother used to listen to Patsy Cline all the time when I was growing up. Listening to her music reminds me of my mother.
This was only 2 years before her death in '63, what a voice
Oh, the beauty of that voice...no one like her....ever. 💗
This was played at my grandmother's funeral 10 years ago as it was her favorite song. Hard to listen to this now
She was absolutely amazing.
Amazing 😄😊
Lazy piano, brushes hitting softy the snare, and an Angel's voice filled with pain and sorrow. Ive always loved Ms. PATSY! {RIP>♡
Hello Diane how are you doing !!
There is nothin better than good ole Country Music! I love it!!
I’m so glad I was brought up by my grandparents, otherwise I wouldn’t know these amazing songs! I really wish that music was still like this as a 16 year old 🙁
After all these years that voice goes strait to my soul!! There will never be another like her!!
I don't think many folks appreciate the control she has abd the control it takes to sing this way
YES!! People think it's easy to sing like this till they try it. Breath control is difficult, but Patsy Cline made it sound so easy. Making the difficult seem easy is the definition of art.
She has that "cry" in her voice. Never shrill. Just wonderful.
No one sings a torch song like Patsy!
There's a woman with a powerful singing voice. The great Patsy Cline!
And control of that power.
My Dad was not really a fan of country music. But one Saturday afternoon he and I were on our way to
the hardware store, several miles from our home. As he drove, with the ever present Camel between his
lips, this song came on the AM radio...and within 3 minutes, his life changed forever. We drove right by
the hardware store...and about 20 miles later, we arrived at Dad's favorite record shop. Over the years
Dad had befriended the shop owner, and they would often talk music for what seemed like hours, as my
kid brother and I ran around the store and looked at hundreds of albums and posters. Dad asked if the
Patsy Cline song "Crazy" was on a "45" or an album. Both were available...and he bought them both. We
eventually got to the hardware store and home, where Dad played his new album for my Mother...she
was nearly as impressed as my Dad. All of this occurred just before Christmas, 1961...I was 11 at the
time. On January 21, 2011, Dad passed at the Maine Veteran's Home in Augusta, Maine...he was 92.
About a month later, my brother and I were going through his things and we found his beloved Patsy
Cline album and 45 from 1961. Although both had been played hundreds of times, they were scratch
free and sounded wonderful. Every time I hear Crazy, I'm instantly transported back to that Saturday
afternoon in 1961, Patsy is singing Crazy on the car radio...and my Dad is totally captivated, forever!
My dad loved her he passed away 3 months ago
Great memory .
I think it was this song that Patsy sang & recorded on the 1st take.
It was perfect
This reminds me of my mammy, she passed when she was 39 years old , i still carry her in my heart she will never be gone ❤
im so sorry for your loss :(
U notice how effortless it is for her to sing, that's a gift
I am 64 years old and reminiscing profusely. Mum and Dads favourite song. Remember!!. So vividly!!
The greatest female voice ever there was in country music, and along with Karen Carpenter, perhaps the greatest female singer! 👍
I absolutely love Karen Carpenter! I have a Carpenters video in the works right now actually, so stay tuned!
And Cass Elliott
kd lang was heavily influenced by Patsy Cline and is considered one of the best singers in history, too. Give her a listen. Plus she’s a lot of fun.
Yeah you should probably include ann Wilson.
. Never heard another singer with such a powerful voice
Patti Page is also great
Thanks mom for introducing me to Patsy’s music. The world lost a true talent 60 years ago today.
I've been listening to her songs all day. It's too sad. Her music will live on, though!
Hello Jasmine how are you doing today?
What a wonderful song, Crazy🤗 Such a perfect pitch. Her voice was flawless. Gone to early, but now she is singing, with the Angels.
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song
Patsy is leading the chorus, for sure.
Wow, stunning voice. Especially the higher register
Music with passion and feeling……a lost art!
This is the legend, Miss Patsy Cline! I'll listen to her, rather than anyone else...RAW TALENT!!
We could use a voice like Patsy's today. Raw, passionate, timeless!!
I used to be sang to sleep with this song as a child. My dad' would play this on his portable record player and mom would sing along. I'm pushing 60 now and dad's been gone 7 years and my mom, God bless her and may she be with us little while longer. 🙂
It’s 2023, I’m 47 years old, this used to be my late grannies song. She used to sing it to my grandpa, after giving him 7 kids. Let it be known this chap looked like a African version of Engelbert Humperdinck. 😂😂Needles to say, I understand the old gals distress 😂😂😂. If you love this song, drop a like. Blessings to all.
i may just start singing this to my granddaughter for a kid of 2 years old she should never have to put up with what she does may look into adopting her she stays with me and her grannie most of the time anyways respect from scotland
❤❤
She is the best country singer ever , I love her voice even if this is my grandparents music. She sings with such feeling I feel her pain
I would say that I am not a big fan of country music but I love Patsy Cline! No Autotune.
I don't know why she's labeled "country", she should be just labeled amazing... her vocals were better than most musicians back then. She looked so beautiful to in what I've seen of her.
My favorite Willie Nelson song!
Something lives forever ❤
Sure does ❤
Where are you listening from?
Absolutely one of my most favorite songs and singers!❤
Her voice is timeless!💞
I love CRAZY also
Patsy hits different when you're going thru it

A Patsy Cline / Karen Carpenter duet would flood the world with tears with the sadness that lives within their voices. I never fail to think of one when I hear the other.

I've seen about 25 of the real groups Doors, Jimmy Hendrix Moody Blues Santana and the list goes on❤❤

My grandmother loved Patsy. It hasn't been a year yet since she's been gone.
This artist left us way too soon. I only imagine what level her voice would've reached. It was already so rich and strong and heartfelt.
Pastry Cline is a very talented singer and he has these magical voice and lyric that I Love ❤️ her songs will never be forgotten in this world. Since when have you been listening to Cline's songs?

During my formative years, I would hear Patsy on the radio. She somehow made a connection with my soul that lasts to this day. SO sad, the way she left us, but still here. Patsy will amaze people for years yet to come.
