- After a rough practice and day one to the stage 7 event at Lake St. Clair, I am ready to make some moves to get inside the cut. The wind is supposed to die down today giving me the opportunity to go out and find a school of smallmouth and make a run-up score tracker.

Gotta love Michigan weather. Been on St. Clair in 12-15 mph winds and those were some rough days. Wouldn't wanna be out there in 20-25 mph days.
Love St Clair I love the early spring we have caught 100 bass at ice out cold but fun fishing easy to just drag a tube they are all 3-5 pounds at that time of the year.

Bro, I was driving to pickwick last thursday from louisville ky. I saw your truck and boat on 65 going south, and I was like damn, theres dc, going home from st clair. I tried to catch up with you and get next to ya, but you were rolling.....so I just got behind you and followed you all the way to nashville......shortest time I've ever made that trip keeping pace with you...lol. Then I thought "it's a sign, me seeing dc...im gonna win or place at this pickwick hobie bos" but I didn't, that hurricane came in all the rain and storms, and I did very poorly, no check, finished in the bottom 10, like 76/84 lol.

I like 12lbs but will use 10lbs too. Red label, invizX or tatsu. They all have their pros and cons but some are easier on the wallet. 🛎

The officials need to respect the fishermen and their equipment! The guys unable to stand on his own without holding on to the graphs, pushing on the screen multiple times.. Look if you can't handle the rougher water don't be an official. This equipment isn't cheap and it's not an "OH SH*T" handle..
I understand you stance but I appreciate the job the officials have and it is really not a huge deal to me that some touch the graphs. Keep in mind being an MLF official is not a paid position so these guys are all here because they love it.
