Boost Your Efficiency with DIY Pocket Hole Jig Workstation

- This portable pocket hole jig workstation is the perfect solution for some of the challenges many of us experience when using a pocket hole jig such as the Kreg K4 Jig System. One issue this workstation resolves is organizing all of the adaptors, screws, drill bits, screw driver bits, and pocket hole plugs that are needed when using pocket holes in your projects. Two storage compartments with latches solves that issue. The bigger issue I dealt with is balancing larger wood pieces, like cabinet sides, on the small jig surface. Instead of using scrap wood placed on your work surface to balance your wood on, this workstation uses the tops of the storage boxes which are aligned flush to the top of the jig and are used to support work pieces of any size without any issues.
This project is considered a beginner woodworking project which doesn't require many specialized tools (Besides a table saw and some kind of chop saw/miter saw) and is a great addition to any workshop that uses a pocket hole jig in their joinery. #kreg #diyprojects

Were sehr schön wenn man solche Videos auf deutsch hören könnte ❤❤❤❤
Hopefully AI can help with this soon
This is exactly what I have been looking for. Another guy used a long narrow- rectangle shaped screw box he got at harbor freight. I pu r chased the same one to make is setup but the box was so flimsy the top broke after one day. I like that yours has a built in sturdy box. I like my tools together by purpose, and this fits the bill for my pocket hole jig. Thanks for sharing your idea with us!!
Glad to hear you like the project! This is definitely sturdy…I’ve been using mine for years now and it’s going strong like it’s brand new. I even accidentally ran it over with my tractor and it survived without a scratch 🤣
Love it!
Thank you! Thanks for watching
Looks great and appears to function well. Good video!
Thanks! Works fantastic and I still use it all the time! Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing, very nice piece.
You’re welcome…thanks for watching!!
good job uncle!!
Thank you Gia!
Bought then plans nice table. For years I used the Kreg Foreman pocket hole machine it was awesome. But it took up to much space in my new small shop. This will be perfect! However I bought an all metal pocket hole jig from Howod I think I like it better then the Kreg K4 which I used before the Foreman. Thanks for the video and plans!
There are a few different metal jigs out there that might be improved over the K4. The Amana tool version comes to mind. Thanks for the purchase and I hope you like the finished product. Share pics with me of your finished project on IG if you have it.
Finished product looks nice
Thanks so much!!
great job!
Thanks Jon!
Nice work man
Thank you!!
Nice work! I am going to do this with my 720 Pro!
I’ve never used the 720 Pro but assume the workstation can be modified to fit it.
nice
Thank you!!
I just dismantled my work station…it just took up too much room for me
Maybe a smaller one that hangs on a wall? 🤣 thanks for watching !!
I would make it so that i put the jig in there. Having it hanging outside isn't practical for storing that box.
I’m not completely following your suggestion. You want the jig inside the storage box? The jig is screwed to the workstation.
@@dellsdiy I would make it in a way you can store in the box. Being exposed like that isn't easy for storing the box away risking damage to the jig.
The music takes away from your vid.
Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it. I’ll keep the music in the background softly even if not speaking
Agree! Music is a little loud especially when trying to watch in a quiet space where you don’t want to interfere with other people’s peace and quiet. HOWEVER, this is just the ticket I’m looking for to make for my K4. Thanks!
@flfbsphatboyblue8970 I appreciate your comment and will make sure to lower volumes in new videos. Glad to hear this will help you out!
