Thank you for this update. I am so sad to learn this terrible news. I was just now going back through some videos for reference and found your comment. I appreciate you letting his viewers know, I’m sure many like me have never interacted in the 10+ years I’ve been following his channel. What a tremendous resource he has been and countless people he’s helped and likely not even known it. I will seek out his books for sure. My heart is so sad for his family and those who love him. I can only imagine what a kind and generous man he must have been.

Greetings sir, My bird was suffering from bacterial infection few days ago. By the guidance of my vet i have given him his medication orally and he is getting better now. But during the process the medicine would fall on his head and neck which has made his feathers very hard and its not fluffing. Its a budgie around 1 year old.

Hello Dr Ross Perry I have a question for you... I had been taking care of two Western Californian Scrub Jay fledglings that fell out of a tree in my yard. Their parents are always close and its seems like the family line has been on our property for generations. I knew that the older one had a broken wing and was watching your videos on how to help heal it but today my mom called a rehaber to pick them up against my wishes because I guess its the law here in California and this lady tried to tell me since it was broken at the shoulder , it would never heal and that the bird would have to have its wing removed and that it would never fly and at best be used as an educational bird never allowed to return to its home here on my property. I of course was heart broken to hear this but something in me felt she wasn't telling me the truth... The bird seemed much more OK then she tried to say it was and was able to fly up onto things in short bursts it just didn't seem like it was gonna die or that it couldn't be healed, so I'm hoping to get your genuine opinion on the matter. Can a bird with a broken shoulder be healed and fly again with the right amount of care or surgery or is it true what she said that it would have to have its wing removed or worse euthanized? I just kind of got this feeling that something was off about her as a professional and I'm curious what your thoughts are. I know this is long-winded because I'm still really upset about it since it just happened today. Anyways hope you are doing well and hope to get a response from you soon.
The. nature of the "diagnosis" without highly detailed xrays etc is only a suspicion and like to many others a lttle knowldge on the bass of suspicion repeated by others including vets, can prove to be wrong on many occasions given tlc, controled physiotherapy, healing supporting intent and up to 6 to 8 weeks protective custody. I am. sorry you have had this experience but please bekind to your mum and the the others involved. Remember they are doing what they believe is best or at worst, most "practical" and diidn't give you the chance to show them what you may have learnt from me and your higher self. I had a very similar experience with a jay. Follow your gut. The bird could have healed. Only under dire circumstances would i ever trust a rehab facility again.

I get that pommengranate can be poisonous to some birds and that your bird should be given a course of vitamin k starting with injection. Black poop usually indicates bleeding in the "stomach" or small intestine. Smears of the ppop should also be exmained for megabacteria/Macrorhynchus ornithogaster and for parasite ova. He should take Lucky to a bird vet. By dowsing she has raven circovirus. The vet will want to euthanase her if he/she recognises it. It can be cured by dowsing and invocations but at present I think I am the only one to do this. Costs are-$135. so..I got more information from observing, so I think it’s because of loud sounds, because the cage is in my brothers room and my brothers play games, since my budgie lime, is new to the household, I think it’s because he isn’t used to the loud sounds and game noises in our house, my brothers also scream and rage when they are playing a game, so I think that’s the problem.

But during the process the medicine would fall on his head and neck which has made his feathers very hard and its not fluffing. Its a budgie around 1 year old.

Hello Dr Ross Perry I have a question for you... I had been taking care of two Western Californian Scrub Jay fledglings that fell out of a tree in my yard. Their parents are always close and its seems like the family line has been on our property for generations. I knew that the older one had a broken wing and was watching your videos on how to help heal it but today my mom called a rehaber to pick them up against my wishes because I guess its the law here in California and this lady tried to tell me since it was broken at the shoulder , it would never heal and that the bird would have to have its wing removed and that it would never fly and at best be used as an educational bird never allowed to return to its home here on my property. I of course was heart broken to hear this but something in me felt she wasn't telling me the truth... The bird seemed much more OK then she tried to say it was and was able to fly up onto things in short bursts it just didn't seem like it was gonna die or that it couldn't be healed, so I'm hoping to get your genuine opinion on the matter. Can a bird with a broken shoulder be healed and fly again with the right amount of care or surgery or is it true what she said that it would have to have its wing removed or worse euthanized? I just kind of got this feeling that something was off about her as a professional and I'm curious what your thoughts are. I know this is long-winded because I'm still really upset about it since it just happened today. Anyways hope you are doing well and hope to get a response from you soon.
The. nature of the "diagnosis" without highly detailed xrays etc is only a suspicion and like to many others a lttle knowldge on the bass of suspicion repeated by others including vets, can prove to be wrong on many occasions given tlc, controled physiotherapy, healing supporting intent and up to 6 to 8 weeks protective custody. I am. sorry you have had this experience but please bekind to your mum and the the others involved. Remember they are doing what they believe is best or at worst, most "practical" and diidn't give you the chance to show them what you may have learnt from me and your higher self. I had a very similar experience with a jay. Follow your gut. The bird could have healed. Only under dire circumstances would i ever trust a rehab facility again.

I get that pommengranate can be poisonous to some birds and that your bird should be given a course of vitamin k starting with injection. Black poop usually indicates bleeding in the "stomach" or small intestine. Smears of the ppop should also be exmained for megabacteria/Macrorhynchus ornithogaster and for parasite ova. He should take Lucky to a bird vet. By dowsing she has raven circovirus. The vet will want to euthanase her if he/she recognises it. so..I got more information from observing, so I think it’s because of loud sounds, because the cage is in my brothers room and my brothers play games, since my budgie lime, is new to the household, I think it’s because he isn’t used to the loud sounds and game noises in our house, my brothers also scream and rage when they are playing a game, so I think that’s the problem.
