They would fire engineers, close factories, sell factories, bring in brazilian and Moroccan experts and then open negotiations with ZF on other facilities. Remember, Tavares is more loyal to Europe and hates barbarian Americans, so he would be the best guy for Airbus within Boeing.

What has Carlos Tavares actually done to warrant another CEO position??! He litterally tanked an American car company in his tenure in terms of profit, reputation, and quality of product. Now he is going to be heading a major airplane company that has had their own quality issues... this doesn't sound like a disaster in the making right?

Why in the hell would Boeing want Carlos Tavares? The only reason I can think of is to offer him as a sacrificial lamb; which I can't imagine would work, since they screwed things up before Carlos screwed things up at Stellantis.
They could potentially place someone worse in his place be careful what you wish for but the damage he’s done is done
I want to see him gone from Stellantis because I have never owned/leased anything but a Chrysler/RAM/Jeep, currently owning a 2023 Grand Cherokee Summit Hemi and a 2018 Chrysler 300c Platnium Hemi. Both of these vehicles are flawless!
Give it 2 years and I don’t want to fly on any Boeing jet built after Carlos joined.

If Boeing is seriously considering hiring Carlos Tavares the US Government should seriously consider nationalizing Boeing to undue all the damage done and break the company up into multiple airplane brands so their is competition in the market.
