As an (amateur) coder, I don't think that technology will have negative emotions towards humans because 1. they aren't powerful enough yet to break down humanity and 2. even if they were, there is a very good chance it wont even care about us, or see no threat in us. but that would require that we literally put chemical soup into it's brain to have emotions like a human.
There are at least a couple years between us now and true sentience.

Google is always fun. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I just talk to my Google Assistant. It really has a way of answering questions that surely will make you laugh.
I was today years old when I learned a "butt yodel" was thing. Also I definitely believe Alexa has tremendous privacy. I mean, wouldn't you expect Bezos to genuinely care about all of Amazon's customers?
