- Besides the most notable Rectify11, the RectifyWin team has also created Rectify7, a mod that replaces numerous classic graphics to fit Windows 7 aesthetics. However, this mod is broken and abandoned. Let's take a look at this mod and see the difference from the vanilla Windows 7.

This is the weirdest combo ever what I've seen. Windows 8 build 8032 and Windows 10 PE. Who thought it was a good idea? Is there a reason for using it? Flag doesn't blend well with white areas like OOBE, System Properties, Windows Classic and winver, in my opinion, stay the logo as it is. Desktop is nothing but just your default ordinary Windows 7 desktop, which is boring. Sound being broken is a very serious issue, it's not good at all. Maybe a signed file affected the sound to don't work. I have experienced the same errors what you have when I'm installing VMware Tools, yet again it affected a signed file. It's weird how VMware 10.0.9 worked at this time. Okay, why all English language regional themes are just here? But okay, cursors blending with Aero window color is a nice touch, the only good thing in this mod. Even accessibility tools are signed too. More UAC prompts reminds me of Windows Vista back in the days. Language bar with Windows 7 Aero aesthetic is okay, but in OOBE doesn't. Well, this mod is awfully made, by one person who did controversial stuff both online and real life. I change the rating from 2/10 to 1/10. Windows 7 doesn't need much changes already. It's perfect as it is, but I only liked very few details what I mentioned.
The Windows 8 build 8032 PE is used just for the Basic theme.

Also, seems like theres a new series to the channel, unofficial windows mods, one unofficial mod that deserves attention is Rectify11, love how it fixes the user experience
tbh, It has only small changes like icons, cursors, small customization , and small bits are broken. The biggest change and the probably only noticeable one is the setup.
Because it is unfinished.

I temember this mod in RectifyWin server back in early 2022, it became 7 Delta iirc due to development issues and other ppl focusing on other projects then the split with Rectify11 made it lose the Rectify name and it became 7 Delta. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Windows 11 (according to a lot of people) - awful
Rectify11 - amazing
Rectify7 - bad

hey to fix vmware tools not installing you have to install Windows updates and this is fault of end of support to windows 7 :(

I was in the RectifyWin Discord server back in 2022 and saw a few members working on it. It's ultimately scrapped due to the split of RectifyWin.
VMware service failed to start because VMware tools don't support Windows 7 anymore
it's because some of updates weren't installed
@@LitilleneWindows On the original Windows 7 SP1 build (7601.17514), the installer for the latest available version of VMware Tools shows a different error with only the OK button. Clicking OK button rollbacks the installation.
@@ThatRandomToastit isn't VMWare's fault that 7 SP1 crashes the setup, there is one important update you need to install to get a lot of stuff working, for ex, Windows Update is broken and gives you a error code and installing that update fixes it. You can watch Julia's video on how to fix it which should help the VMWare tools issue

they only added the ones that come with a standard english install (aka all official english locales)
Because only regional themes from en-us are kept.
