It's not bad for the car, all it does is it makes the car louder and helps it breathe, it will not do anything bad to the car

I straight piped my daily driver mx5 nb before watching this, i must say for a 1.8 is fucking LOUD. Snap necks everywhere i go. If you cruise at 2000/2800rpm is actually okay, anywhere beyond that...🤣

Straight pipe slows your car down at low rpms from a stoplight laucnch for around 4 seconds the most but picks up real nice

Nice video mate. I was really thinking about straight piping my bmw, it already has a sports muffler and sounds nice/loud but i think if i fully straight piped it and drove it daily it would get annoying having such a loud car all the time.

If you want that V8 sound, take out the resonator and replace it with X or H pipes. Keep the mufflers or find different ones because they are “tuned” to produce a desired sound. Lastly, if you know ways around annual inspections and aren’t scared of CELs. Take those cats off and sell them. Now you got money to pay up when you lose in your slow, aggressive Dodge Charger.

First thing to start.... you need to know what “straight piping” a car is.... what straight piping a car is... HEADERS, AND STRAIGHT PIPES BACK, No cats, No mufflers, no resonators. Thats all it is

I just straight piped my Car. Low end torque felt the same. I've noticed on higher rpm when I shift gears. I get no pushed back into my seats. I've never experienced that before...lmfao

That's not consider 'Straight Pipe" bro..... What you got there is considered "Open Pipe" it's just the same as Opening the Exhaust Flange on the pipe Between the Cats & Mufflers = "Open Pipes"....

Also straight piping a non carb engine is not recommended due to the increased electronic control.
