After a long hiatus involving the accidental breaking of my camera, I contribute another video of the music of St. Bartholomew's Church. As you can see, since this summer, a second altar has now been added to the center of the church, and all of the chairs are now in, replacing the pews. St. Bartholomew's is on its way, transforming itself into a more flexible and intimate place.
This beautiful and simple Swedish hymn references the readings for today, which were Isaiah 40:1-11 and Mark 1:1-8. - Hudba
This hymn was originally Swedish. An American friend who lives in Sweden sent me a video of her church singing this: it was so s-l-o-o-o-w! At the faster tempo that we play it, it reminds you of a lilting folk dance. It makes you really want to go out there and "prepare the way."

One of my favorite hymn tunes played on a great Aeolian-Skinner organ. It don';t get any better than this dude.

Thank you for telling me what kind of organ it is. I looove pipe organs. I have been an enthusiastic amateur organist since 1988.
...the reason I never became a professional is because I have so much difficulty with hand-foot coordination, & when I play manuals without pedals it sounds, as someone told me, "choppy". What a shame, because I looove the organ, as I said in an earlier comment.
