It all went downhill for Kyrie Irving when that reporter asked him about LeBron being a father figure to him... there goes your origin story lol
Underrated comment
This is the biggest Fact ever. You are 1000% correct.
No you are 100,000% correct
😁
😂😂😂😂
Kobe Bryant on ESPN: “I’ve known for a long time they’re a bunch of idiots.” Don’t even try to use Kobe to push your Kyrie slander. Absolutely disgusting yet I’m not shocked.
He was using Kobe as an example saying that just like Kyrie, Kobe didn't like the media etc. However still speak to the media and be CLEAR; where Kyrie is always evasive and cryptic.
That's at least how I interpret it.
Exactly, I doubt Kobe would even care in the slightest , SAS using Kobe to push his bitter agenda towards Kyrie is cringe af
I don't even agree with Kyrie but SAS manages to make Kyrie's point seem understandable
@@sargeranders9546 I agree that was his point but using Kobe as an example was pointless af, like Kyrie would see this and be like " ohhh Kobe talked to the media so should I"
@@oliverbeck3376 True enough I can see that
Kobe knows it's his obligation as a basketball player to talk to the media even if he hates them..
The “Kobe would be disappointed” comment was corny and lame!!! How would he know Kobe would be disappointed?!?!
the media continues to blatantly prove WHY Kyrie doesn’t like talking to them.
you’d think SOME of these people have self awareness
Kobe didn't like talking to reporters as well because they think they have to know everything about you other than basketball
@@stephonaugustin1384 BUT he still spoke to them Kobe NEVER denied media availability
@@stephonaugustin1384 Kobe never denied media because he's aware of the power they hold AND the big difference is that Kobe actually has something to say. Clear, concise, thought-provoking. Kyrie is just full of nonsense.
Media don't like when they get attacked so they come together and form Voltron to defend there corrupt/slimey business practices..
if Kyrie could intellectually breakdown what he means, it could be a massive blow to media credibility, but unfortunately he's not equipped to do
Keep Kobe out of this Stephen A. That was classless.
Absolutely no class at all. They always trash the athletes saying they need thicker skin yet they get so butthurt and in their feelings over nothing smh fk the media
fr, totally unnecessary
Stephen A has always been classless, I don't know why isn't anybody noticing

Kyrie Irving just earned my respect, at the exact same time Stephen A, brought up Kobe on his. BS argument.
The dichotomy on how both stars conducted themselves is glaring

They do, sadly 🤦🏾♂️

Technically we’re all pawns so nobody would be wrong 😂

We are all pawns
This is exactly what Kyrie is talking about
KD! Is that you?
Exactly
Honestly, nothing he said has been incorrect regarding the media. These hot take pundits (more talking heads) like Stephen A, prove his point. They make money off him, not the other way around. I thought the way Max, Rachel Nichols and a few others articulated their thoughts yesterday were perfect. It sucks for him to have to talk all the time, and of course he is partially to "blame" for some of the really dumb things he's said previously, and for how he's conducted himself. It's all part of him growing and maturing as a player. But sports media clearly deserves a chunk of the blame for how they try to sensationalize and drum up whatever they can. Both sides are at fault. As Max and others have said though... ultimately, the best person to get the message out is Kyrie himself. He's an intelligent dude with a good heart. He just needs to pick his spots better.
@@gmpm y’all not getting it, it’s part of his contract to speak with the media.

When Kyrie does not speak to the media, you go after him, when Kyrie speaks to the media, you still go after him.
The media didn’t show Kobe no love neither
Once again SAS crossed the line with that Kobe comment.
He knew he did right when he said it🤦🏻♂️Unreal
Kobe's boyfriends burst into tears every time their boo thang gets mentioned lol. Kobe has passed away, get over it. Kobe was articulate. Kyrie is NOT Kobe. SAS made a good basic point
@@blackphillip564 I feel bad for Kyrie either he gets Stephen A's the message or not, but I like it that Stephen A. actually said it.

why?
Softy
that was highly inappropriate, like how would he know how kobe would feel. thats exactly why he doesnt talk to media

Yup!!!And that's why players like Kyrie don't want to talk to them. Unfortunately because it's in his contract he has to,but he should get like beast mode.." I'm here so I don't get fined" . Lol.
I feel like the media knows kyrie is emotional so they tend to pick on him more than other superstars.
The sports media need Kyrie to talk so they could get ratings. Its the same thing as fouling a guy who cant make free throws in the last two minutes.
