I think for a regular person who played as a kid and sees the nba they don’t think about the players going through anything. And suddenly you’re in the limelight, and if you have any issues, any mental health struggles, life, you can’t take a break. And I know people signed contracts, but I’d be damned if everyday when I got off of work I had to have an interview about how good or bad I did. It has to be exhausting and I understand the players doing interviews makes the players and nba money. They’re also not robots or trained seals. There has to be some middle ground for empathy and the players feelings as humans into account.
SAS is a beast! I really like him and how he doesn't shy from the truth.
