this guy absolutely made me fall in love with ball. neymar is special but he aint dinho. dinho was from another planet
i would take Dinho any day of the week, Zidane's international career overshadowed everything, Dinho did more and literally can do more than Zidane and he was inconsistent as hell in his club career, Dinho literally carried Barca and put them back up n the map. Zidane is one of the greats but Dinho is different, waay different. a whole generation started watching football just for him and now theyre lifelong football fans because of him.
R10 and Zidane are both in similar tiers, but this bs about Zidane's inconsistency needs to be checked, it's some overblown narrative that's pushed recently in social media, how do you call a player who was World class for 10 years, won Player of the seasons in 3 different leagues in very different club situations and lead his NT to their greatest period of success as inconsistent?
R10 may have had more tricks in the bag, but that's like saying a Kaleidoscope has more colours than the rainbow, plus Zidane actually proved he could be the talisman for more than one team, R10 may have won nearly everything with the NT, but he was never the main guy when he did, and when it was time for him to take that burden, he underperformed. Zidane's NT won nothing unless Zidane was fit and firing for them, that was how important he was for them
@@njldst2007 that's why I said most of his legacy is his international career, top 3 international player you could argue, but he underperformed too much in club level for his talent. I don't care about the semantics and nice analogies, facts are facts.

Player of the Season in 3 different leagues has nothing to do with his International career.
Also, here's another fact, Zidane won around the same exact amount of trophies in Domestic level as R10 did, another thing to think about when trying to talk about their club careers

Some think Pele's Brazil was the greatest, not even close, you guys talking Neymar??? 1998-2002 was Brazil greatest team. Denilson was the Neymar of their time, played quite some games but eventually got relegated to the bench because he was a showboater. Thing is most people forget or think players or quality is eternal. Brazil never had a Ronaldo or a Ronaldinho before, or even a Rivaldo. Those 3 are mages and should be regarded as mages in football, yes Cristiano scores more, yes Messi scores more but these 3 dudes had something that probably only Maradona had before them, magic

Maybe R10 is on the list of the best Brazilian players of all time, but it's not certain. The certainty is that Neymar is not on this list.
