For me, this character has become a legend and I’m sure he will gain even more popularity and fame in the new seasons!

"I should have closed my eyes & rattled at heaven's gates a long time ago. But it was the hope of this meeting that has kept me alive..." followed by the line you mentioned, a tear runs down my cheek no matter how many times rewatched...

What really makes me angry is that every one knows who is Uhtred and what he did and what he can do, but no one gives him what he really deserves, even when alfred says his words, he did it with the hope that he can force Uhtred to help his son to be the king

@@nusratb.1341 not gonna lie... Alfred's death made me cry... I think its the music with the good acting from David Dawson and Eliza Butterworth.. the only other scene that really got me was Thyra's death... Ian Hart as father Beocca was so believable... his pain and seeing Julia Bache-Wiig as Thyra having to kill herself so she doesnt have to burn alive...trully a tragedy.
One of the greatest shows ever made. The number of people who I have persuaded to see the series and afterwards they are utterly hooked. Great characters, historical story line superbly cast, filmed and directed. An epic show. No one should miss this monumental piece of television.

My son turned me on to this show, and at first I thought no this is not my cup of tea.. but..one of the best series I’ve ever watched.. I’m 62 and have watched a few..esp in the last 3 months.. I highly recommend this show..can’t wait till season 5

Big fan of Vikings and never really interested in the last kingdom but in the last few days have started watching it and really enjoying it.
Its the best series Ive ever watched, Better than Vikings and Game of Thrones. Definitely give it a watch

Uthred goes through hell. He is such a hero and never gets the reward and always gets betrayed 😭. He deserves more

he wasn't much of a hero in season 1 he was a bit of an asshole.
They even gave his daughter to a Dane in the bargain, he shall at this moment to rise an army and take all the north, then stand against those bastards

One of the best shows ever. Excellent pace of the story, cinematography, action sequences, character development and of course interesting historical context. The dynamic between King Alfred and Uhtred was awesome.
Another epic tribute mate, I haven't seen the last kingdom, but that tribute just gave me the chills to try and give it a watch.

Have watched all the 4 seasons continuously at one go, still got goosebumps watching this short clip. Best ever seasons movie, i did not regret nor get bored any minute of my time watching it.

The Last Kingdom gets better and better season after season... I finished season 4 a week ago and I'm still feeling so empty... Just in love with this show! It became one of my favorites of all time. The characters, the story, the music, everything is so fucking perfect. Can't wait for the next season.

This is one of the best... It sums up his story perfectly. The slavery episode and Uhtred and Alfred's last talk still remains to be my favorite. He suffered much and lost many yet he still keep on fighting. And you beautifully put together everything happened until the last episode ✨great job

He is so sexy because he is faithfull, brave, selfless and a man of honor. That keep his promises no matter what's the circumstances, such a gentleman. Can't wait for season 5 , 6, 7 and so on !! I've read a few books from Bernard Cornwell, which I loved, so a friend of mine talked to me about The Last Kingdom, since it's inspired by his novels. I watched it and liked it so much! Uhtred is such a well written character and the whole story is very engaging. Can't wait for season five, in the meantime I will catch up with the books! XD This video is really well done, a beautiful summary of who Uhtred is and of all the hell he goes through. Amazing job!

Wow that first minute and a half plus the music 🙌🏼 Fast paced to say the least. Then up comes 5:44-5:52. It has certainly shown me to rewatch the earlier seasons as some of the scenes/dialogue seemed new to me 😅 I thought this was brilliantly done. I’d be proud of this video.

This has been a pleasure. I have been a fan of ufford since 2006 when I first discovered the last Kingdom in the library. Every year a new book came out and I was always looking forward to it. To be honest, books one through three were excellent. Book for was weak. Then book 5 and six started picking up. And I was looking forward to all the historical battles and English Kings and Pagan pirates and lords. But then it just got stale. The series was excellent though.

IMO this is the best series I’ve ever watched. So SO good. I’m looking forward to the movie on Friday, April 14th on Netflix. But I’m so very sad that it will come to an end then, for sure. I never tire of watching it. The books are incredible as well.
