When I tried online dating sites (some were Christian), I had the most HORRIBLE NIGHTMARISH experiences. I would weep every night and cry to God and kept asking WHY He wouldn't send someone into my life... He gave me a very clear answer why. I am still single at 32. PRAISE GOD. I have a feeling He has something so much bigger in store for me.

So true. I can especially relate to the part about memorization of scripture. My parents also encouraged (forced) me to memorize scripture. I actually won Vacation Bible School contests for the number of verses I memorized. At the time, I was probably just doing it because I had to, and I don't think much of it connected from my brain to my heart at the time. I may not even have fully understood much of it. At 61 years old now, those scriptures are still part of me, and have come to mind over the years whenever needed, whether for myself or others for help and comfort in time of need. They just pop in my head - some verses which I haven't even really thought about or gone back and reviewed - just pop into my head and I recite them word for word, as if I practiced them every day.

@@scatteredseedsofhappiness3285 "write them on the tables of their heart"... We only see the physical. Scripture memorization simply "feels" like any other form of rote memorization, like important dates in history or the Periodic Tables. The glaring difference for us who believe, God's word will not return to Him void. Just like Jesus on earth. NO ONE met Jesus on earth without being forever changed. Jesus IS the Word. In a world full of lies, Jesus is THE WORD of TRUTH. The power of God unto salvation. No one can have the Word stored in the recesses of their mind without being changed. Having a mother that prays for them and teaches them the Word of God is the most vital and most precious thing a child can have - whether they know it now or not. Someday those scriptures will be help in time of need, a light for their path and a comfort like no other.

I am a 61 year old mother and wife of 38 years, having two grown up children. I have never belonged to a church, but I am walking and living with the Lord. I have 5 siblings and they were baptised church of England, my father a none practicing Catholic, mum C of E., my nanny taught me to pray, and promised me her bible, which was presented to her in 1928 for excellent attendance at Sunday school. She went on to teaching Sunday school at Baptist Church. I have always felt someone was watching over me. My husband asked me out in1975, I was 17 he was 23. Married in 1981. My husband like me hadn't been baptised, h born on Christmas day, name Thomas, whenever I asked him about The Lord, he said he would not accept Jesus, he needs proof like the marks on his side and hands and feet. I called him doubting Thomas, ( Diddimus). I have suffered much hardship all my life, disfunctnal up bringing, opposition from both sides of my family and Tom's family. After getting married I became ill and lost my job, and I spent 1st wedding anniversary in hospital, my first baby born 2 weeks b 2nd wedding anniversary. Special needs and had school ancillary help and school transport, in and out of hospital up to the age of 12, I battled with my own health. I almost lost my son in a car accident 2016 and I prayed to God for his life, I trusted in God and I had my prayers answered. I gave m to the Lord Jesus Christ, I gave him the reins and asked him to to teach me and lead me to the truth. After 24 years of trying to understand the truth and the way, not understanding the bible. I have been taught by the Lord himself and led through the Bible and how to prayer and worship him. He is the only one who is capable of telling us the truth, God is telling me to pray for his peace and grace, and to fight for his future peace. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, THE KEY TO THE KINGDOM HEAVEN AND NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH Jesus and Holy spirit in us which we received through the Grace of God after accepting Jesus. Believing that Jesus is the only begotten son of God. Then humbling before God and confession of all our sinful nature and asked him to forgive us our sins. Invite him into our hearts and minds and receive the Holy spirit the true Baptising of God. AMEN

Isaiah 53:5, he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed. For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH, Obedience to God's command. God told Noah to build an ark to be saved. Noah believed and responded by building the ark. Mark 16:16, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. If you believe in this message, help spread it in the name of Jesus Christ so people can get saved the right way. God bless you!

Look up! No matter what the world throws at us, we have our way out. It is called God, The Father, and Jesus, The Son, and their voice. If we obey God The Father and love Jesus The Son, then we can overcome the world by following The Father's counsel in Deut.6:8-9 and learning to "keep" the Ten Commandments just as He stated them and wrote them.
Then, Jesus says if you love Him to "keep" His words. So bind and "keep" the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. Let that Love, Spirit, Their Voice lead and guide us. Wrap all your loved ones in the armour of God and protect your family and property from those who come to steal, kill and destroy. God's words are spirit and they are life. There is a time to preach, and a time to act. It's up to us to seek God's help in discerning what we need to do and when to do it. It is God's love that is special.
This is our foundation, keep learning and growing strong. Build your house strong in the Lord, May your house be standing when His day comes.
