This channel is addicting
Very addicting.
We all love and need encouragement no matter our personality type.
It’s about time this was spoken about. The most important issue today. Look at all the broken homes and the sad empty children.
May the Lord heal and Fill our children with His love
Bless you. I am seeking healing in my marriage. So encouraging to me.
We are not stuck in the marriage we're in, we have a great ability to change the direction the marriage that we have.
I was waiting to hear the phrases an amiable needs to hear... It wasn't included.
Very helpful! Thank you Jesus for this Channel!
This is AMAZING!!!! Most have heard of the 5 Love Languages, but this is that next level that should accompany those love languages

Their Is one type of person that you have NOT addressed..THE NARCISISTIC PERSON. .that you CANNOT show LOVE..bc It takes advantage of. his/her partner..& i think you should talk about It ..with helping indications..bc. we are full of these people..
@@QuiteTheLady you DON'T know what your talking about..First live. with a NARC...then You Will understand..what It really means...not what you THINK..but what It Is...
That's exactly the situation with me was. 20 years I poured my heart to loving my husband. It was never ever ever enough. NEVER ENOUGH! I eventually died on the inside and I totally gave up...
@@QuiteTheLady I didn't know about narcissism until this year. But I poured my heart and all I had to my husband of 20 years and it was never enough. At one point we attended a session at church where we learned about love languages and for a while (a couple of months) it seemed like it was working. And of course he started pulling away and degrading me. When I told him he was draining the love tank and adding nothing in, he raged and told me the love language concept is garbage and that by the way he attended the session because I dragged him there. What do you do with a person like that?
Two great helps for understanding it better and what to do:
Dr Les Carter CZcams channel, including his video entitled Calm Confidence, and the book Why Does He Do That? by Lundy Bancroft.
Learn not to JADE (Justify, Argue, Defend or Explain)
Peace and courage to you.
@@QuiteTheLady it's also not for you to judge people here
This speaks to me alot
What a wonderful explanation
Love all your teachings ❤️
Seeing this topic makes me cringe. I loved my husband for 20 years, but it was just never ever ever enough. I always did something wrong even if I did everything he told me. The goal post was always moving until I totally gave up
Yeah, this doesn't work for marriages where there is a mental illness substance abuse. I think her points are valid for most other circumstances, but those things are more prevalent than most Christian acknowledges.
I typed 'How to help your WIFE feel loved' and this was number two on the list. Sigh, I give up, I really do.
New information that we all need thanks
Hi, I just subscribed to this & scrolling thru reading the topics. What about ways for a husband make his wife feel loved😕
Pat Savinda you might enjoy this radio interview that Focus on the Family did called “Practical Ideas for Loving Your Wife” with Jay Payleitner.

It's a. Narcist video..the women has to do all the work..& the Narc ALWAYS... takes... draining. the partner..GIVING BACK NOTHING.. but hate ..
I have those same two love languages she does lo!
Where can I get the material for home please??!!!! The 4 personalities...wow
So what are the amiable phrases? Didn’t hear that, to help him feel love
Focus of the family is great, but there seems to be only one host, haha.. i mean 90% of the talking is by Jim.. Ha, an expressive!
I have an important question
How do we discover our husband 's personality in order to love him in an appropriate way? Hope you can help
20:02 Does anybody know this verse?
How does this work with a man who has narc tendencies??
What happened to my comment and the one I responded to?
🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Help, I'm 2 of these personalities & my husband is the opposite 2. It's a challenge b/c he's a driver, esp. control & UN emotional, & I'm amiable, his strong personality usually overwhelms me & I can't stand up for myself.
I'd take a time out to pray and fast to hear from the Lord. Can u get away for a few days? This is no way to live. Bad for your health in every aspect. He doesn't sound like a true Christian. Get FOTF resources and a Godly counselor.
There seems to be a lot of content on what women should be doing.
Oooh, there always is. This one is aimed at women , but if you look for the advice for men, you'll not find as much.
Trouble is when an expressive is married to an amiable

What if you aren't sure what your husband's personality is? Do you have a checklist to help determine it?
Saved this video to watch later but after seeing your comment, I think I'll watch sooner than later.
Another guest simply mentioned asking each other "What makes you feel loved?"
Sorry for not responding sooner, Sarah. We don't really have a checklist, but this article might help you understand your husband's love language and communication style: bit.ly/2KO6Upp. Hope it helps. God bless!
Love languages book is also helpful to love your spouse in the best way.
This is on her blog describing the four types. I screenshot them, sent it to my husband and asked him which one he thought described him best. I was shocked to find out his answer wasnt even close to what I thought! Hope that helps www.kathilipp.com/2012/09/marriage-and-the-four-personality-types/
