Emily yeet go to origin make a account and download origin and you have to buy sims 4 sometimes it’s cheaper! I got mine for 6 dollars it goes on sale randomly and after you buy it ,it will download but you need storage for it I ran out of storage so I got a new laptop

I downloaded mine in origin and you just have to look in your documents and you should find Electronic Arts.

Crazy had been searching on CZcams all day on how to download mods and add them into The Sims 4 this is the only video that actually was helpful.
be careful children some mods will break your game, it can be easily fixed by deleting the mod.
how do you know which mod will break the game?

I downloaded some cc and I think it deleted my saved game files. I had to restart everything four times. I really want cc but I'm afraid it will delete my game again.

yeah the sims resource is really safe, but do not click any links that might be in the discription of the cc because that might not be safe. just click the download button and follow the instructions on this video
Mihaela Cepoi ask your parents to get McAfee as if u go on a website, it tells you if the website has viruses and it gives an option to continue or go back and not enter

Here’s how you download mods.
1) Go to where you want to download the mod.
2) Download it.
3) Open the mod’s file.
4) Copy the mod.
5) Open documents.
6) Go to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
7) Paste the mod in Mods.
Extra 1) Make sure that custom scripts are enabled.
Extra 2) Enable it and exit and reopen The Sims 4 if you didn’t.
8) Make sure the mods menu opens.
9) Make another save file to test the mod.
10) Done!

Hey guys if you need help with that if you got to setting search through( I can’t think off the top of my head) and you should find enable mods//cc. Click that, then click apply game changes then click off. After exit the sims and restart it up again. I hope this helps ☺️

I actually just fixed mine. I went on the game, clicked game options, clicked others, then I ticked enable mods. Apparently it turned off somehow. You should probably try that too.
+heyitzhenna I'm glad to hear that! I also researched and found that it is a new game patch: The ability for the game to automatically disable the mods folder when a new update is available. So, you will need to re-enable the mods once you load the game every time it updates.

I got the problem that I can't find the "custom content" anywhere in the game of Sims 4 Limited Edition, and I have clicked the button there said "allow custom content", but it's not there. I downloaded some clothes and hair, but it's not in the game, even though I've saved them all into the folder; My Computer/documents/electronic art/the sims4/mods. Nothing, nadas is happening!
