Omg, I miss the color wheel and customization from 3 so bad! I didn't need to download CC because with the wheel, we had more than enough variety by just simply changing a watch!
@@PinkSander I think the customization on 3 went a *little* too far being able to change the cheapest cabinets to have like perfect marble and so on, but the color wheel and being able to change individual parts of a swatch is definitely necessary..

As a creator of the "not so Berry challenge", it would be wonderful to make a cc pack with wallpapers and tiles, or some clothes like the challenge' s colours.
Do you mean like, the creator of the whole challenge, cause if you are….you aren’t lol,,, kayla made the whole challenge.

To be fair, they have to finance it, and -play test- it before releasing and they have a plan they have to follow, but yes it can be that easy, and I wish they added more!

@@Allymai_ Blending modes apply colors over preexisting ones in different ways but don't actually change the original color. Photoshop's "Color" blending mode won't actually cause the color to change fully, it'll take the hue but will use the shade of the original color. The funny thing is Photoshop actually has a Color match function that Kayla could have used to get a better result

as someone who has created quite a lot of cc over the years, i really enjoyed this. it's not bad or chaotic, this video is literally how it is recolouring/making textures for cc

I would love more purples. I feel like most look pink when placed on the walls.
Illogical sims has a couple decent tutorials on how to recolor stuff, or even make your own furniture

I’m a CC creator and I loved watching this because she was having so much fun! I know people would think that other creators would cringe at beginners but no! Having fun and experimenting is how you learn! Keep recolouring Kayla, you’re doing great 😊
I actually sat down yesterday and today after watching this video to try and learn how to make cc. And i figured it out, made my own patterned wallpaper and a painting with one of my drawings and its going really good so far im super hooked now. Thanks for showing that it is not as hard as it seems

i loved this video! it was so realistic and I like that you just were trying things and just seemed like you were having so much fun. I also thought CC creation was like *the most complicated* and I definitely don't think it's easy now, but it makes it feel like if I wanted to, I could actually try it out.
You literally made the exact color i need to remake my home in the sims. Yes, I know it’s probably already available as CC somewhere but I didn’t want to hunt it down. Damn I’m so grateful.
I loooove the cc making videos. Please do more. I made a prediction at the beginning of the year that you’d make a cc pack somehow this year possibly with someone and this made me feel more confident on that.

A "Neutrals" kit would be amazing! Just walls/floors/etc in basic, no frill, neutral tones.
I don’t use cc but man I would love some more neutral wallpaper/paint

If you use the "multiply" blend mode, you should be able to get much closer to the original color you're trying to make!
The color blend mode shifts the hue of the layer underneath it, while multiply overlays the color on top. The "overlay" blend mode is also useful paired with multiply to make the color feel brighter and more saturated!
You also don't have to use the same wallpaper to make a new recolor - you can use a completely random one if you've already got the texture. You'd have to change the tag settings tho to be correct

The 5 swatches you made of that wallpaper, reminded me so much of aro flag (the new one the one with the whitestripe not the yellow). I know I know the lightest wasn't even white, and it was all more desaturated and in a bit of wrong order (I mean if you'd only switch the deep green with the lightest one) but I recently realised I'm aromantic so now I see aro flags everywhere

Up to this day, I'm still wishing that patterns/colors in Sims 4 is as customizable as Sims 3's for builds
