Hands down SCP-3001 for me. The thought of being isolated, alone, and in terrible pain for all eternity is genuinely emotionally impactful. It’s the worst fate I could imagine.
Right
2718
Imagine scp 2701 thats hella scary
“Traumatizing” “devastating” “detrimental” “harming” and you chose to say “impactful” like no shit dude. It will effect you someway

If it tried to fall asleep to this, odds are I’d wake up very distressed.

@@talustalon sigh
@@talustalon OH MY FREAKING GOD
No matter how frightening an SCP is, there's always one worst than the last.
Tell that to the scarlet king.
@@AccmayB-yearsold all elder gods could be terrifying. And you forget the Brothers Death. After those 3 items were used no one can stop them.
@@Dr.C.Shadow true.
40k Elder Gods: you sure about that?
and the worst of them all is S M O R M U
SCP-3001 is the most horrifying to me. The idea of eternal and painful stay in a dark nothingness while remaining conscious the whole time and being unable to die.
In that respect, while it definitely lacks the dramatic writing of SCP-3001, i think SCP-2718 is even scarier.
Gotta say of all them, it has to be SCP-001 When Day Breaks. It's one of the few that actually affects everything, humans, life and other SCPs everywhere. Not with instant death, such as O death, but slow and brutal. It's a threat to the point that it fundamentally changes survivors, both humans and SCPs.
Oh trust me, 2718 is waaaaay worse
@@detroitbecomesurvivaltrain7813 who?
@@Ririannana what happens after death
I agree the very concept of when day breaks is unsalvageable.
The thing about when day breaks isn't just the fact that it corrupts you physically and mentally...but SPIRITUALLY too, thats mortifying, even if you SOMEHOW are granted death in your mishapen form you still carry that curse into the next life.
That redhead guy is really a target all the time huh? He should be an SCP himself.
"The most targeted man alive"
I think that the look doesn't really matter. The really scary ones are the ones that make you think you are afraid of them. (like SCP-303, the Face in the window and the corridor to the room where SCP-2521 was contained)
Nah B SCP-2718 is making me question it irl it's way worse
@@TUNDIRE409 that's what ive been saying! Its genuinley scary because it seems to real
Honestly, the SCP that filled me with the highest level of fear and sadness was SCP-4445, where "The Day the Music Died" was an actual anomaly that caused the physical and conceptual foundations of music to collapse across the whole universe. They did a quick fix for Earth's music field, but it *will* fail someday, and there will never be music again.
Taktikal Ops belike:
That’s the day I kill my self, even if I’m already dead.
Music is such a non existent concept because as long as there is sound there is music and as long something exist there would be some reaction that would vibrate to our ears to translate it for our mind to alert us of our environment. In other words, to erase music one must erase existence itself.
@@servantforeigner5818 SCPs prove that your logic can’t work
@@SCP_Wandsman13_13 You are aware SCP lore is fiction, yeah? If things like SCP-106, SCP-096, and SCP-3008 really did exist, how long would it be until humanity discovered the SCP Foundation? I mean, you have things like the Orcadian Horsemen, if those were real, the world would already know about anomalies, without any doubt whatsoever.
I'd say it's the Doorman because of its anomalous ability to terrify you by its mere presence. Even the most fearless MTF fell victim to it
Still no match for 2718
The Doorman and Face in the window are surely terrifying.
@@Dr.C.Shadow still, no match for 2718
@@detroitbecomesurvivaltrain7813 yeah, probably...
@@Dr.C.Shadow do you know it?
The scariest thing about the Bodies in the Water is the question: do I recognize them? Is the Foundation covering up something truly horrible on their part, or is it genuinely an anomaly that they want to protect you from?
Yeah but if everyone recognizes them than its pretty obviously an anomaly
It's already getting to you.
Very good question
Cover-up, probably. Do you remember the water thing(can’t remember name) the foundation tortured?
I like how he mocked chills
For me. It’s 106 and 001 “when day breaks” I find those ones truly terrifying
when day breaks EASILY. imagine how genuinely horrific it would be. six BILLION casualties within the first 24 hours. and if you do somehow manage to live, you have to hear the mimics of your loved ones voices as they desperately try to convince you to bask in the light. you can't even kill yourself to end the pain. no matter what you do, you WILL become part of the mass. an undying blob of melted humans and animals, roaming the earth and searching for survivors for eternity. unable to die.
I wasn't expecting a picture of a sloth guy to be at the number-1 spot. Thought I knew what fear was after all the SCP videos I've seen.
I was full-on expecting SCP-2006 to be at the top
@@SirStockBox Same.
Do a list of SCPs that can solve real life world problems.
They kind of did, a list of SCPs you'd actually want
The one pill SCP can cure everything including the flesh that hates!
SCP 4666: The Yule Man is absolutely the most sadistic and nightmarish entities, by virtue of the sheer brutality and horror of how he mutilates and displays the corpses of his victims, and creates toys using of the body parts of children
Agreed 8 year old me lost sleep over this scp lmao
I would love to see a movie about this SCP
(and many others)
The yule man is terrifying even for someone living in a tropical country like me, just the thought that there's a dude in the northernmost parts of the world kidnapping children and killing their families.
I agree
.
I think the astounding answer here is the doorman since the fear he creates is literally unbreakable
Ever heard of 2718?
And Face in the Window is also terrifying.
SCP 2718 hands down the scariest...makes one question it in real life.
Scp -1 will be introduced soon
I totally agree bro
Yeah
Agree!
What if you were to get cremated, or if your bones rotted to dust, would you still feel pain then?
That number 15 was sport on! Well done hunter
Honestly, I'd say the Bone Hive or the Red Reality would be the most terrifying SCPs
*number 15 burger king foot lettuce* that had me dying 😂😂😂😂
The Bodies in the Water is definitely one I found terrifying. Especially when I watched another video that linked that SCP to The Class of '76. I was terrified for days after watching that video.
However, I would think that SCP 2006 would trump all of the other SCP's. Yes, in its contained state it's harmless and almost comical, but imagine if it ever got out and learned of the scary SCP's. It could turn into something that combined all of the scariest SCP's.
the most frightening thing in this video was the "number 15" that put me on edge immediately
SCP 4666 gave me chills when I first learned about it. Definitely the creepiest one in my opinion
Yesss
Fr
Only two SCP truly terrify me.
First is SCP-106 considering he will hunt you down like a predator to its prey and once he gets hold of you he’ll torture you in his own personal world slowly and painful.
The second is SCP-2399, knowing that this anomaly can’t be contained at all, we launched hundreds on nuclear warheads that would wipe out humanity a thousand times over only to do absolutely nothing to it, and above all else it remains on Jupiter watching and repairing its self in order to get to its main priority target, which is earth.
Number 15. SCP Foot Anomaly. The last thing you'd want in your SCP Foundation Anomaly is someone's foot fungus.
But as it turns out, that might be what you get. A foundation member uploaded a photo to the site anonymously showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of [REDACTED].
My honest opinion, probably the Bodies in the water one. From how much it gaslights you into believing you don’t know them is deadass really unsettling, and to me, being unsettling is scarier than being scary. 106 and When Day Breaks are two that would also be literal nightmares to go up against.
Imagine being a researcher and uploading a meme with a kill agent hazard.
10:18 SCP-2852 is my favorite SCP and I didn’t expect him to be in this video, thanks, and keep up the good work
People : *revise before exams*
Me : just another SCP ....
The most terrifying of all had to be When Day Breaks. To think that [REDACTED] people died within 1 day is terrifying. We’ve always flourished in the light… but now we can’t…
Trying to find a scariest SCP is like trying to find the best Van Halen album. Impossible
It’s like finding a needle in a haystack but the haystack is the size of the entire galaxy and beyond
For me it's SCP-002, The Living Room. Just the thought of being drawn inside and turned into furniture freaks me right the heck out
Watch the movie the house then new on netflix
Its about that watch the trailer
Do not smoke salvia at all costs. Users report, feeling as if they turned into inanimate objects, without any sense of time. Scp-002 is real and its called Salvia Divinorum
Idk how you make so many incredible videos every single day! Love it and keep it up!
610 has always been extremely terrifying to me
For me, it's DEFINITELY 439, aka The Bone Hive. Being turned into bone while still being alive as thousands and thousands of horrible little demon bugs make your internal organs their comfy new home is the pinnacle of terrifying. I'd rather walk right into 610's village then deal with those damn bugs!
I love these SCP comparison videos! They’re just so great
0:32 is the reason I love this channel so much.
Scp-087 is it for me. I don't know why, but the simplicity and mystery really does it for me. Honestly, knowing what's at the bottom would ruin it, but without that knowledge, it is terrifying to me on a very personal level. I don't know why, but it scares me much more than any other scps
Cragglewood park, the Reagan tape and the attic come close for me, but this is the one, horror in its purest form. Darkness, noises, loneliness, but most importantly, the unknown. Horror means forcing you to rely on your imagination, because you'll fill the unknown with your deepest fears, fears that the writers themeselves could have never guessed. Not enough horror stories do that. In fact, i believe the original writer of SCP-087 had thought of a fourth exploration and they didn't release it. In my opinion, it was for the best. We look for a meaning in order to feel safe, but only human beings do that. The scariest part for me is thinking that all the questions we had about the staircase were never meant to be asked, and they might just have no answer at all.
Well screw you I wanna know what’s at the bottom
That's also alright. It's perfectly fine to want to know and be curious. I think the mystery is scarier, and don't think the answers would satisfy me.
If they satisfy you, that's great! If you wanna know, research it, feel free to. Scp is about having fun at the end of it all, and whether my version of that is different from yours doesn't matter. Just enjoy yourself, knock yourself out :D
@@Kernoel77 honestly i was making a joke and didn’t expect to have a civil discussion on the internet. Nice 👍
I realized it was a joke after posting my response, and by then I was commited xD
Great video! ❤️
This channel makes living actually worth it
Bro the fact you just meme on Chills like that is the best thing this channel has ever done.
The switching between the SCP's makes it hard for me to even know when a new SCP is being mentioned, thats some smooth animating
The anomaly that hasn't been invented yet...
You definitely nailed it, 4666 and 106 scare me the most by far
Omfg that Chills impersonation!. I'm dead. You guys rock.
For me the SCPs that freak me out the most are the dominance shift scenarios, like 3199 or 3288.
I absolutely love the reference to Dylan, completely unexpected and pleasantly surprising 😂 for me, the scariest abnormally is a massive tie: 108, 049, and 682. So far...
Addendum: forgot about 001. Daybreak abs Scarlet King.
0:37 these two words are way scarier than the scarlet king
number fiften burgerking foot letuce.
That number 15 sent Chills
Yeah, 2774 is one a lot of people overlook when it comes to pure terror. This brief introduction is just scratching the surface really
The scariest SCP for me is sleep killer, that thing scares the living shit out of me being something of an insomniac myself
The Chills reference caught me off guard, good job guys
SCP-001 When Day Breaks is the scariest for me, other SCP's are isolated incidents where if they existed they probably won't happen to you, When Day Breaks is different, the Sun's power is absolute, if you were outside anywhere on the planet when the sun was neutralized, your life would end within minutes, those were the lucky ones, they didn't have to worry about everything that would happen after, the scared dark nights hoping the beasts wouldn't find you, the yearning from beings that sound like the ones you loved, the moment of dread when you realize it'll never end, this is your life now, there is no escaping the sun
the problem is that they didnt die
@@mank89 they didn't live on either, their sense of self was gone, they aren't who they were
@@ATemplarIGuess that might be true but theres also the possibility that they dont lose this sense, they just camt move or speak freely, plus the transformation and state of being is, according to my own theory, probably like being on fire for all eternity
im holding out hope that being a flesh monster is actually pleasant
@@mank89 that's fair, though I feel like a person dies with their brain, and with a body becoming a wax-like monster that the brain can't continue to function in any way similar to the way it was before
Yeah I used to believe that too, I thought nothing could ever come close to being as terrific as SCP 001 when day breaks. Then I learned about SCP 2718...
Another possibility is that the trees might come from a dimension of druids and if you got planted as a tree there it comes with some stability and rootings properties but also responsibilities. Some legends about the magic forests is that they sometimes choose based on respect who might get to be a part of it, physical or methaporical. It depends!
Omg yes!!!! You knocked on chills!!!! Hahahaha love it!!! "Number fiiitheeeeen" mad props for that
R.I.P Peanut! You shall be remembered.
I’d say scp-3199 would be the scariest to come face to face with. Like holy sh*t a man chicken that can liquefy your insides, it doesn’t get much worse.
SCP - 2718 is the only SCP entry that’s genuinely terrified me, because there’s no way to say it’s not true.
That is why we have religions.
@@tyaty Religions would only make things worse. In the "afterlife" you would be stuck with thoughts about what you did wrong and why your god(s) has brought this terrible fate upon you.
That chills reference was great. It made me blow air through my nose a little harder than normal.
I can't believe you guys did the "number fifteen" joke! you guys are awesome!
SCP-001 When Day Breaks
I feel like SCP 3001 should be number one. After all, he can do everything else on this list to you. And if he doesn't, it's probably just because he is thinking of something worse
🤣 oh god! You got me with the Chills reference!
Oh! You put in my favorite SCP!
Maybe it wouldn't be at the top, but SCP-1562 deserves to be on this list, especially if you're claustrophobic. It's the metal slide that traps you in a tight underground tunnel if you slide down it on your stomach, then after you suffocate, time is reversed so you relive your final moments over and over again forever.
Korega no Requiem da
Yeah but you gotta consider how because it happens over and over again if ur conscious about the fact that it is happening you will eventually be numb to it, if its truly forever that is
@@dicklover4203 People say that about almost any fate worse than death.
@@Ultrasound700 yes but the fact that it literally goes on forever, you will eventually become numb to it
@@dicklover4203 How long is eventually? A few days at least? Spending several days on end suffocating in a tunnel smaller than most coffins would be more terrifying than most of the anomalies presented here.
LOL the Chills impression was the best thing to ever happen on this channel.
Hey, you picked 2774 as the scariest. That's awesome, thanks!!
"and in the words of an other terrifying youtuber number 15" had me dying🤣🤣
I think there are 2 who are also scary. First: Face in the Window. When you look at his face you'll become paranoid for the rest of your life and second: the shadow people of SCP-1983. I know it's presumably neutralized but alone the thought that they could hold your heart in like two or three blinks with your eyes is frightening...
SCP-2852 Is actually a subordinate of SCP-3004 aka the Cicada God.
Quite frankly, one of the scariest SCP gotta be the bone ants! Like being still alived for its nest? No thank you!
I hate bugs like those, so finding one of those in a hotel room or something would hands down be a nightmare
Omg a chills reference. Thanks
Fantastic video wow
I know it's morbid, but just imagine having slow burn sloth victims as D-Class. They'd volunteer for deadly experiments with full cooperation.
106 is scariest for me
"number 15"
That was the greatest thing ever
Thanks for making my day better
Amazing video
I think SCP-J911 is the most terrifying SCP
hi verified man
ZAMN! it’s the funny animator man
So many cliff hangers and I'm anxious to any episode
After all of these fears, I'm glad good ol' Bobble made the list.
The old man and the bootleg Santa Claus is the scariest ones for me
The chills reference was everything
Chills has now peaked, first his smiling friends incident and now infographics
Pretty well covered list I'd say, most of the SCP's I had in mind before watching did indeed show up in this list which was neat
Personally, I feel like that Waldo fella in the outro coulda fit into the main video quite well, and more so, everything connected to Project dammerung, that stuff is terrifying for the soul reason that it *could* be real
I LOVE the Chills reference.
So to start us of in the words of another terrifying youtuber, number fifteen
I laughed so hard
When day breaks or the one about what happens after death. Those are just terrifying
Do you have a cognitohazard compilation/explanation video? If you don’t I’d really like another one like the infohazard compilation you made, that one was great!
The fact i knew almost all of them (except 3 SCPs) and was able to predict most of them really shows how much i'm an SCP nerd
It is the SCPs that haven't been found that are the scariest to me. The ones who have yet to be recorded. My reasoning for this is that there will always be an SCP scarier then the last.
Yay new vid!
You actually said “number 15” like chills I can’t believe it
