    ABOUT US
Hi, we’re Chris and Mandy, travel bloggers and creators from Australia. Since December 2015, we have been travelling and exploring the world full-time. We usually spend 1-2 months in each place we travel to and love really getting to know a place. One of our favourite ways to get to know a destination is through food, and we share all of our food guides here on CZcams and on our travel blogs. We love to pack light, travelling the past 3 years with carry-on only. On AlmostLanding.com, we share in-depth guides to help you plan the best trip, we often have free printable guides you can download or print out, we’ve created our own travel maps pinpointing our favourite picks for different places so you can easily find everything and make travel planning easy. We have another travel blog all on Bali, AlmostLanding-Bali.com, we’ve spent so much time in Bali and share everything we know and love about this beautiful island. We’ve fallen in love with travel and blogging, and we wanted to create a space for other travel lovers and life dreamers. Thanks for being a part of Almost Landing, and make sure to say hi :)

Kudos to the amount of research you guys did for your videos. Fu Chun is def a well loved establishment frequented by locals simply for its frills free dining experience and its delicious, value for money dumplings.

Thanks that means a lot :) We had two months in Shanghai so plenty of time to try a lot of places and get to know our favourites! Fu Chun had such a great feel, one of our faves.

I admire your careful production of the video, and congratulations on the authentic delicacy that can only be eaten by the locals. It is indeed a good choice to come to China if you want to eat delicious food. Cuisine varies greatly from place to place in China, but there is not only food in China, but also countless beautiful scenery, long historical buildings, modern cities and hospitable and friendly people, and a very safe environment. The descriptions of China and Western media are completely different. Welcome you and all friendly foreigners to visit China!

Hi and thank you so much for your comment :) Totally agree, there is incredible scenery, cities and people in China. We absolutely loved everything we ate on both our trips to China, and hope to return again and visit some other areas to try some more of the cuisines.

You brave man, putting the whole XLB in your mouth without first draining the soup into a spoon. Every time we go out with a bunch of people, we have to get a minimum two steamer baskets each! The baskets are stacked like a chimney in the middle of the table.

There was something I loved about having them whole, worth the risk ;) You can never get too many!

You should see the Yu Garden. I mean the actual old garden inside the Yu Garden Shopping/tourist Area.

Thanks for the tip, we were actually in Shanghai last year and went to Yu Garden, it was amazing we loved it :) Such beautiful gardens!

@@almostlanding I though it might be a little more interesting if you can rank them on your personal preferences in the end.

I would suggest Nanxiang as the best place for tourists to try xlb in Shanghai. You might heard on internet that taste of nanxiang xlb is worse and worse meanwhile they raise their price a lot. But nanxiang is the place creates Shanghai xlb, always represents the most traditional Shanghai style xlb and should be the first choice for people visit Shanghai.
