My tip for eating sheng jian bao is always using a soup spoon to help hold the bao, take a little bite of the bao skin, drink the soup and then eat the rest of it with the vinegar :)

Nice review. Da Hu Chun is usually my go to for pan fried dumplings. Generous portion and wonderful soup to meat to dough ratio.

Nice vid! Did you guys get sick of eating so many dumplings? Sheng Jian Baos are pretty heavy. Hope you got to try some other types of foods while you were there.

Oh but dumplings are so much more than that!! haha :) We have quite a few Shanghai food videos coming out over the next week, loved all the food there when we spent two months there last year. We like our videos to be pretty specific and focus on particular foods when there is something a place does so so well!
