I have this mask. It is quite clear to see through. Don't get to use it much because I am using solo in the field. I have used other goggles that require the drone to be in split view mode. These do not. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the review on this. I did get one and did not have a good experience. I'm typically lenient with critique as long as a product only has a couple of drawbacks, but this one had many. This set of goggles was not comfortable at all. The bridge of the nose really started hurting after only a few minutes use. The goggles aren't really that heavy but when you put your phone in it there is a lot of weight cantalievered out in front of your head which puts more pressure on the nose. Adjusting straps and moving the mask around was little help. I tried watching a movie to start with, John Wick and that is when I knew the quality of the display wasn't going to be good. It's not terrible, but not nearly as good as expected. Seemed like maybe 720p at best. A little grainy and dark. For reference I was using a Google Pixel 7 with the brightness turned up. Same image quality using the Mini 2. Don't expect to be able to see all ghost branches in trees. The quality of the display is probably close to the original DJI goggles. The finger holes are ok, but the flaps will block part of the bottom of the screen when using them. Works with glasses but not very well. I had to use a minimal framed glasses and even then they would get pushed to my face. I wanted to love these. I sold all of my real FPV drones and goggles a longmtime ago and really miss the FPV experience. These goggles don't meet my expectations but maybe they will for you. I'm sending mine back.

Does the screen looks bigger larger than in a DJI goggle?
I don’t own DJI goggles so I wouldn’t know but these goggles work by amplifying the view of your phone’s screen at high resolution.

The V1 is SUPER Heavy! I will have to mod it so I can use the lens, I am creating a totally new box to use the lens of the V1, the V1 is like carrying two bricks on top of the head. How is the weight on V2? Looks like is heavy too!
The idea of these goggles are great but the functionality and experience horrible. Here is how the V3 should be:
1. Replace what holding the lens with strong foam.
2. Use a slider to focus, so you can adjust to anyone.
3. Perfect V3. No more bricks and easy to use, super light and make it 1/2 of the price, these google should not cost more than $50, even with the suggestions I told for the V3. The V1 and I think V2 you are paying for the lens, everything is horrible approach. You will need a tripod to hold these goggles.
Although I appreciate and respect your opinion about it, I’d have to disagree on some points. First, is that its much lighter this version than the first version, Second, they have upgraded the foam and head straps so it’s more comfortable and doesn’t feel as heavy as before. Third, they’ve improved the “slider” to adjust the view of your phone’s screen. And last, it now allows you to access the screen without opening the front while you’re flying. I do agree that you’re mostly paying for their patented optical lens which is awesome but they’re still a relatively small company, so I doubt that they have the capital to design it as they would like to. Its definitely been improved that’s for sure. Thanks again for your comment my friend.
