Somewhat ironic that the next year, 2001, Friends would *not* even get nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding TV Show in Comedy. The first time since 1997, when they also missed out for obvious reasons. This in relation to what Jennifer said at 0:45 _"With time, it's a bottle of wine. It just keeps getting better."_ to describe the writing process as the show was progressing. Also translating to that it was getting worse instead. Plummeting views and negative reception. Mostly due to the disappointing arc in the relationship of Rachel & Ross that had gotten nonsensical at that time. Eventually a Rachel & Ross pregnancy in season eight, as a last minute resort, was able to turn around the misfortunes and helping to blow new life into the show.
