    That audience is so sad to see....it's probably not even worth it to tour the USA. Europe and Asia are the only markets that still give a shit about rock and metal.

      It's not that rock is dead in the US, it's that a rock band from 40 years ago that played a specific type of rock is dead. I just seen Armon Amath with Cannibal Corpse in a 9,000 seat venue last week. For an extreme underground Viking Metal band that's insane! Disturbed, 5 finger Death Punch, Lamb of God,Slipknot, Sleep Token, Ghost, all selling arenas this summer and look at rock bands doing stadium tours this summer, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Foo fighters, Metallica. Some bands get entire new generations of fans while others keep the core base and that eventually dwindles over time.
