NOTE: This is NOT a full flush. It will take multiple transfer to clear out the old fluid. Only a full flush will remove the entirety of the old fluid.

Thank you. I needed this.
You’ve got this!
Nice idea
Thank you! Cheers!
That Dr pepper looks delicious!
I wouldn’t drink it 😂
Hello, very good video!! In the end, how much steering fluid did you use for the change?
I think I did a bottle and half. I don’t remember too well, sorry! I’d get at least two especially if you’ve never done it.
I need to change transmission and brakes fluids in my 2008 Honda Odyssey ex model can you send me video how to do it
So I take it your vehicle is an 8 cylinder Jeep, unfortunately the 6 cylinder is a Hydraulic system and requires a Power Steering fluid that must meet the MS-11655. Also, the dealership is selling the MOPAR MS-11655 at $24/pint
Correct this is for the HEMI
I can't believe it's that easy? No way! Isn't there another way just to drain the fluid other than that?
There definitely are more ways. You can remove the lines to complete drain the fluid or you can buy an extractor to take all the fluids out. This is just a swap and the simplest in my opinion, for someone hesitant to take on maintenance. More than one way to skin a cat! Cheers
@@learnsavediy thank you the video was very helpful I didn't realize it was that easy I'm going to do mine this weekend. My power steering is making noise so I think the fluid is just old.
The power steering fluid it recommends is like 34 bucks
Yes. All the mopar fluids are pricey. Your decision on what you want to put in your vehicle but I went with the SuperTech ATF fluid and have had no issues to this day. Cheers
you prob changed about, no joke, 10% of your steering fluid by doing it this way lol. i was going to say it was a waste of time, but doing this and adding some new, non-degraded fluid and removing some of the old is better than nothing. as you mentioned in the video, it is really better to drain the lines, and if u have the vehicle up, turn the wheel and get all the old fluid out.
