- Mark Zeigler Yacht Sales invited me down to check out one of their latest listings, a 1999 McKinna 57 Pilothouse Motor Yacht for sale. This was the first time I had ever been on a McKinna Yacht, and to be honest, I did not know what to expect. One step onboard, and I was hooked! extended bathing platform for swimming and diving, aft cockpit with fully grilling station and wet bar, open plan interior with the saloon, galley, and pilothouse being altogether with so much natural light, and spacious accommodation down below that would make you never want to spend a night on land again!
Further more, you have a fully enclosed flybridge that also has enough seating for your friends and family to join you, with a sports tender stored up top ready for launching whenever needed.
This may have been my 1st time on a McKinna Yacht, but I hope it is not my last!!
You can find the details of this boat on Mark's website at www.mzyachts.com
I hope you enjoy this video!

This would indeed be a perfect liveaboard!! So many places aboard to relax and unwind! Perfect! Thanks for the tour! ✌️🏳️🌈✌️
Another boat that cost me a lottery ticket on the way home 🤪 This is my kind of boat if I had the time and money to enjoy it 😉
Great live aboard, retirees living the dream!❤
I'd love to retire on something like this 🤠
I could live aboard that. No lottery needed.
You only live once.
She would make a fantastic liveaboard 😎
Just love the bright wood
It's a great finish throughout
I looked them up they build super yachts these days, but they do have a range of 48 to 94 feet as well. They are extremely well-made and they have a pretty good range in super yachts that is over 100 foot long. It appears they have them built in Taiwan, which is a very high-quality area for yacht construction. The company was started in 1994 so this yacht was an early one and I would say at this price it’s an absolute steal given its condition and its construction and its heritage .
This may sound like a stupid comment, but this boat felt like a small super yacht. So many clever design features, solid build quality, and very comfortable soft furnishings, that it was like a smaller version of something like the new Hamptons I've featured on here before.
Incredible value I know nothing about this brand I’ll have to research it but it’s an impressive vessel for sure
This was the first time I heard of them as well, but I was very impressed 🤠
great value and quality!
I agree, thanks for watching 😎
That is a great boat.
I agree 😎
Never heard of one. Kind of has a Mikelson feel to her on the inside. Bow is different ; tough to judge how blue water it is. But it looks well made on the inside. I like it. I guess if it's been to the Bahama's, it's not Carver-esque, and it can get out there. Nice find.
This was a first for me too, but she doesn't disappoint at all. I'd have no issues taking this one anywhere the fuel range allows. She feels solid and well designed inside and out.
Comprehensive review
Thank you 😊
Hi Garnock Reviews, And a happy New Year for 2024. This is a new brand for me this McKinna 57 Pilothouse so i never seen this in Europe and it looks very nice with a lot off storage onboard with a open salon and galley together a viewstaps up the good size bridge below 2 cabins and 2 heads i love that office below very nice Thanks again Great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks Manuel. This was a new brand for me too. I'm curious how many of them were ever built. Great liveaboard and great value for money.
Really enjoyed the craftsman seen throughout.
How much does it cost to get her surveyed and are you able to provide references. Freezing in Kakaveka Falls, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
I'd recommend reaching out to Mark for help on that one. Mark can point you in the direction of surveyors but also mechanical engineers too.
Its a beautiful boat, but the galley is big miss imho. I had a bigger fridge in my college dorm room.
I wonder if there is anywhere onboard for a 2nd fridge 🤔
I'd buy it.
I'd be proud to own this one as well 🤠
Unfortunately, the cost of buying a house is making these look like a bargain.
When I was a kid, the only people I knew who lived on a boat, were boaters who made that leap. Now, I get messages and emails from people looking to live on one out of necessity 🥺
Another Mark Zeigler cream puff, it would seem. We know the age and hours on the mechanicals means ownership assumes some ownership overhead beyond simply operating the yacht. But new'ish, much smaller motor yachts from e.g. Jeanneau, Beneteau, Carver et al., I see them priced hundreds of thousands of dollars higher with far more limited capability. The much lower pricing covers a lot of future maintenance and upgrades.
Thanks Jack. I've got a mid 30ft center console coming up for around $260k. For less than $100k more, you have the perfect liveaboard for family cruising. I know which one I'd pick 😉
@@GarnockReviews Well....we both might think the McKinna is the better buy. But I'll bet we'd both have to stretch to 'afford her' afterwards! BTW my wife and I will be in Jax next week to inspect the Cutwater 248 that you reviewed some weeks ago. I'll bet we've watched - slowly, carefully, repeatedly - your video 30 times by now to better learn what's on offer. Thanks very much for your efforts on that video, Garnock. They are greatly appreciated by both of us.
That Cutwater was a great boat to film. It's insane how much room and features they were able to cram into something so small. I'm well over 6ft, and to walk through to the helm without looking like Quasimodo was a real shock!
No doubt this is a beautiful yacht,
but 'creampuff' it is not.
