As a Madirista all I can say this match was just total and complete insanity nobody saw that brace from Josleu coming I think this game was a testament to that Real Madrid UCL heritage their mentality is just different I cannot explain it but Real Madrid never gives up they just have a grit and determination and hunger that sets them apart form other clubs and that is why they always win Hala Madrid

Real Madrid dominated the whole game, not just the second half.
Joselu was clutch. He crashed the net (hockey term; I play ice hockey) and he got the rebound from Neuer and bam - goal! That’s what the team has to do… look for the rebounds and put the ball in the net. Who’d thought that Joselu pulled a Rodrygo! What an awesome performance from him and the team!
The ref blew his whistle early that's why lunin didn't move to save that simple shot.If not the ref he would've saved that simple shot.

Its totally on Bayern. After they scored, they refused to play the game. Its like they wanted to waste time till the end of the game. All their players were rolling on the ground and taking too much time to get on a free kick, corner or throw in. Yes its normal to waste time but the way they were doing it shows the mentality. Once we went ahead we didnt waste as much time as they did. Instead we played with more intensity to win the duels. You could see with player putting up sliding tackles, putting all their bodies on the line to get the ball. And even when we were taking corners or free kicks or during substitution we didnt take too much time. We wanted to win by defending well and keeping the ball ie playing football unlike Bayern. Ultimately this makes a lot of difference. After we equalized, we didnt think about extra time, it was only about winning within the normal time. Bayern should have learnt from Madrid's history of come backs and yet they made the same mistakes as their predecessors. They thought the game was over before it was over. Taking off their entire attack with 10-15 mins to go is insane lol.
Wasting time and defending a lead close the game ending is exactly shat you should do and Bayern did that.
They are just unlucky
@@alexnice2221 If you cared enough to read my comment you would have noticed that I mentioned it is normal to waste time with a lead. I just highlighted the different approaches to the game after both the teams went ahead. Madrid concentrated on seeing the game through more intensity meanwhile Bayern just didnt want to play.
They are not unlucky. They were poor both offensively and defensively. If it was not for Neuer and Madrid not having a proper 9, the score would be much more embarrassing for them.
All this comes from the manager. He told his team to waste time. Made up stories about his players asking to come off due to injuries blah blah.

Vini ripped Kimmich apart, but for most of the game there was nobody in the box to profit from it.
His impact did eventually show in the scoresheet though, even though it wasn't in a direct manner.
Why didn't the ref blow the whistle after the declared additional 2 minutes. If MAdrid had lost today, it would've been a clear robbery by the ref. Haters should be fair, and call out both outstanding mistakes by the ref.
Bayern parked the bus and they literally started to play on time after 68 minute. I am not talking about those little time wastings taking standard situations but rolling on the floor. Pavlovic being the biggest actor there man was rolling on the floor for several minutes so the staff had ro come to carry him out in a stretcher just so you could see him casually walking on the side lines few seconds afterwards. The 9+ extra time was given because of this reason and it turned to be in favour for bayern cause they got more time to equalize. Bayern than even got a +5 on top of that. But still haters are crying that its robbed🤦♂️

Those who say the ref and linesman were bought, they tend to quickly forget that BOTH the ref and linesman ruled against Real Madrid's second goal before var reversed the decision.
The sequence of actions that resulted in var being unable to confirm or deny offside of the last ball Bayern kicked into Madrid's net was not consciously played out by the ref and linesman, and despite people saying they should have allowed the ball to play out before making the call, they forget both are human and when under much pressure can act in a way they wouldn't when under less pressure. It's all part of the game.
Is anyone going to ask where did the referee get 13 plus mins and more so 3 plus after initially stating 2 more mins. If we are lkn at if play should have continued in d offside Bayern goal then we ought to be asking if Bayern scored there after the game was completed by the referee count some 2 mins prior to them scoring.

My take is this. #1 the ball was played and over and was arguably offside. #2 The linesman held up his flag as the ball landed so the ref blew the whistle for offside. #3 After he blew the whistle EVERYBODY IN THE PLAY STOP PLAYING THEN DE LIGT DECIDED TO JUST KICK THE BALL IN THE NET AND STARTED CELEBRATING HOPING VAR WOULD INTERVENE. VAR cannot intervene when the whistle was blown and everybody stopped playing bro. I really wanted to ref to let that play go on because there is no way De Ligt thinks he won't be contested on that shot bro smh its impossible. #4 Tuchel bottled this game for Bayern because there is no way you have a 1-0 lead with 15 mins left in the game plus added time and you take off all your attacking players in a UCL semi final bro worse away from home. If I was Bayern CEO I would have sacked him on the spot after the game because after that Real Madrid needed literally 1 goal in this game and it was over from there. There is no way Bayern would win this game with purely with defenders in this game. I so wished that the ref had let them play because I never wanted any of this so called controversy BS to distract ppl from another epic comeback and Real Madrid DNA on display. Excellent analysis, as usual! Also on the off side 'goal', Madrid players stopped once the whistle went, including the goal keeper. Agree play should not have been stopped - but there is no guarantee it was not off side because the VAR lines were never applied and lastly Lunin might have actually saved it if the whistle hadn't gone...Tuchel's sub's were presumptuous and he needs to own his tactical mistakes. Ancelotti's changes were courageous and inspired!

Ancelotti was the better tactical compared to Tuchel this time. Tuchel basically played 6 defenders with 20 minutes and removed any attacking players while Ancelotti played Vini more on the left to take advantage of Kimmich. Plus Ancelotti substitution were correct in getting a center forward to link up with Vini with the crosses. Bellingham and Rodrigo were ineffective in the second half.
Real Madrid was the better team and even when they play the better game they still try to find a way to say Bayern should have won.

As a Bayern fan, I knew Madrid would come back after Davies scored. Madrid totally deserved to win. Tuchel's way of playing is not the Bayern way. I was shocked at how terrible they were for a team that had to defend a 1-0 lead with 25+ minutes remaining. And Neuer's mistake is no excuse for the incapability of the rest of his teams performance, he saved them a lot throughout the game.

I've to admit Madrid fought very hard to get back in the game. The substitution made by Tuchel to sit back and bring all his creative players out made Madrid to pile pressure and them even though bayern had the chance to double their lead. To the ref I think that was a blunder from him and the linesman cuz u should have allowed the action to complete before you blow and details like that determine the outcome of a huge game like that. However Madrid made them suffer and congrats to them.

As a neutral I did want Bayern to win. Not because I hate Real Madrid but just because I think you guys have won enough 😂 it’s interesting when we get other champions. Also I wanted Harry Kane to win a trophy.
Also I think Vini has been superb. He controls games with long periods of dominance as he always wants the ball. Bellingham is more about moments with his intensity and then hard work.

RM dominated Bayern for 90 plus minutes....They tried to waste time, but it came back to haunt them...and the stupid ref gave them 15 minute extra...it was supposed to be only 9 and the ref mistake was over the 9'th minute.

If you want to speed up the game and play on 100x speed play CAMA, if you want to play a slow controlled game play Tchoumeni! For that reason, Sir Carlo had Cama benched, when he needed a player to play rapid fire game, he signed him in.
I love your insights but I do have to disagree on this when you said Carlo didn't exploit Kimmich weaknesses in the first leg. In fact, he knows, it was a matter of timing which Touchel didn't take into acount until like 20 mins later. Touchel was not prepared for that.
I was very disappointed by Rodrygo perofomance. He was some how terrible. His reaction was slow, lost control of a few easy balls, he was the reason for the counter attack when we conceeded that goal. Also, Toni Rudiger, was a little bit slaggish. He didn't perform to the level he has been doing lately, although he had an OK job, Nacho outshined him in that game.
Lunin did a good job, I don't know if I should blame him for that goal but I am sure if Courtios was playing, he could've saved it! I am hoping Courtios will be ready and fit to play the final.

Además si hubieran querido ayudar al Real Madrid no le anulan el gol de nacho y tampoco hubieran levantado el banderin en el segundo gol que tubo que corregir el var. Por no decir que hubiera pitado el final a los 9 min extra y no hubiera dado 2 min más y acabar pitando el final con 15 min extra. De ayuda arbitral nada, incluso se erro más en contra del Real madrid.
