Which makes her even more interesting.
I can think of a million ways why their whole life wouldn't work without spencer but i can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work without aria for example.

This show has definitely not aged well. I remember at the time I thought it was so hot that Ezra and Aria were together but like now I look back at that power dynamic and I’m just like no. As soon as he found out she was 16, he should have put a stop to it. He was the adult in the situation. It’s on him.

I think one of the mistakes of the show was that the gave people what they wanted.Thats why they were changing everything.Toby and Caleb stayed more because the fans wanted it.The show went on because people wanted it.They tried to combine the original plot with what the fans wanted and they fucked that up

Yeah, for the first couple of episodes I thought she was in college too. After rewatching those episodes, I learned that when Aria was talking to Ezra, she phrased her "studying English" (I think) as if she was a college student studying English. I can't remember if she did that on purpose or not. But (SPOILERS)

But I think the show is garbage and even IF she's right, a good show shouldn't leave me wanting to skip to the end because the "build up" is so flawed and boring. I wish I dropped this show earlier. (super super super spoilers!!!) then her sister's ex ex fiance gets back with Spencer's sister, and he turns out to be a sociopath, and the dude ends up dead, because he tried to kill Spencer, while her sister is "pregnant" (turns out she wasn't, and had a miscarriage like really early) and he also dated Alison.

3:30 looking back, this dialogue was weirdly spot on. An adult talking to a very younger women, and how it doesn't quite work out, because you know, she's not AN ADULT at 16. Weirdly, the show ignored it and kept them together.

What was so annoying was how she wanted her friends to call him Ezra like let them call him what they want
season 1 and season 2 of pll isn't even that bad. I did enjoy the mystery part of it and the friendships between the girls a lot. however after that it becomes very repetitive and boring. I gave up mid s3 cause I didn't even enjoy it anymore, I just forced myself to watch just to see what happens. if it had ended after two or three seasons, I think it would have been a pretty good show despite being kinda silly and unrealistic at times
Read the books (only 1-8) kinda the same, fast reads, same addicting sense the show has, and A in the books is ten times better than the show. Also Spencer is just an amazing character that you feel is like so petty in the novels.
Seeing Fits and Aria together from the first season is even more awkward knowing that they eventually move in together and the relationship is treated like it's normal
