WHY GOD MADE JEWISH CONVERTS

  • Rabbi Yaron Reuven's shiur highlights the importance of valuing converts (righteous gentiles who choose to join Judaism) as the Torah commands Jews to treat them as family. Converts should not be discriminated against based on their origin, even if it includes a sinful past.
    In fact, the love for converts should surpass that for natural-born Jews, according to the Torah. Reuven emphasizes that nationalism, which prioritizes the land of Israel over Torah observance, is a form of idolatry that contradicts the Torah's teachings.

    Born in Netanya, Israel, Rabbi Yaron Reuven began his American Dream as a little boy, when his family immigrated to the United States. He went from a newspaper boy at the age of 10, to a well-known self-made Wall Street multimillionaire by the age of 23. During his time in Wall Street, he owned his own private brokerage firm, a hedge fund, and an international insurance agency. He was featured on CNBC, Bloomberg and Chinese NDTV due to his success in the financial industry.
    At age 26 he faced a 7-year battle for his life when a simple surgery went wrong. From that moment his life would never be the same. This moment marked the start of a series of miraculous events and an exciting pursuit of truth, ultimately resulting in Rabbi Reuven renouncing his lofty position and success in Wall Street, after 16 years, to become a full-time KIRUV rabbi. His Teshuva story is sure to catch the heart of every listener.
    Rabbi Reuven’s shiurim are in English and Hebrew. His classes are focused on spreading the truth and divinity of the Torah through MUSSAR, scientific proofs, and many other methods to reach each individual listener. Rabbi Reuven is the leading educator on the topic of wasting seed in the English language with over 30 hrs of content published online.
    Rabbi Yaron Reuven is a proud member of the Igud HaRabbonim (The Rabbinical Alliance of America), a national rabbinic organization founded in 1942. Today, our 900+ members are congregational leaders, religious teachers, chaplains, heads of Jewish organizations and communal leaders united in their commitment to traditional Orthodox Judaism. I left Christianity 3 years ago. God opened my eyes and now I am learning Torah. I would like to convert. I want to serve HaShem only. I even bought Rabi Tovia Singer” Let’s get Biblical “ I am expecting those books to educate myself and have an answer to whoever will ask me why I left the doctrine that once I thought was the truth. Shalom to everyone. May HaShem the King of the Universe bless you all.🤗😇🙋🏻‍♀️

    I converted many years ago. It took 5 long years, but was the best thing I have every done. It was difficult. I lost my family and great job opportunities. Today, I have a wonderful family and am blessed. I am stunned how easy it is to convert in America. I have met converts who admit they are only converting because they are married to a Jew and who still maintain ties to their former religion. American Rabbis and rabbinical organisations can do better. As converts, we deserve better.

      Conversion shouldn't take that long. You just give yourself on an imaginary altar to the God of Israel and accept Him as King over your life. That's what I did. But remain true to yourself and accept the fact that you cannot become someone you are not.

    I grew up in a Roman Catholic Family, went to parochial school and at age 16 pretty much left the church. I married a Jewish girl,(still now my wife) . I was searching for the total truth my whole life, I became Baptist, and then attended a messianic "synagogue", never filled the void as I saw the goal was to convert my wife ..... , and further research showed me it was basically a Pentecostal charade. I cried out to G-d for clarity, I wanted to not go through life now worshiping the One True G-d. Baruch Hashem... I converted 3 years ago and now want to expand my learning and I now belong to a Reform synagogue but see many shortcomings and doctrines that are contrary to Hashem's Law. The biggest problem with bread or dough being filling is that because its carbs it actually fuels hunger, and the more carbs you have the more hunger cravings you get. Take alcohol and oil, and put them in a glass and set fire to them. The alcohol burns really fast, but the oil is much more steady and outlasts the alcohol. Carbs are chains of sugar, and when the body burns sugar, it is in effect the same as the alcohol being burnt in a glass. However, if the body is fat adapted, and burns fat instead of glucose, there are no constant hunger cravings as there are when the body uses glucose as its main fuel source. Fat as a fuel source is much more steady just like the oil being burnt

    I’ve been going to Shabbat services for about six months. I can honestly say that I look forward to Shabbat services every week. I can also say I never looked forward to Christian services each week. I tried multiple different Protestant denominations including Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Fundamentally I know the Trinity was a made up lie that the ancient Romans adapted to convert those worshipping Pagan religions in Rome at the time. Same with the adopted holidays of Christianity and Easter. These were only pagan holidays adopted by the Catholic Church. I don’t believe anyone can die for another’s sins and I don’t believe in original sin. Within Judaism, I am finding what makes sense and what is the truth. I don’t know or I will officially ever convert, but I can say I will never entertain the idea of Christianity again. There are good Christians but they have been lied to and don’t even realize it. Christianity is an idol worshipping religion that is fraught with lies and divisions. This is why there are more than 35,000 different Christian denominations. It’s absolutely ridiculous!

He prolongs the conversions for years to those who are really serious. But young girls he accepts very quickly. No wonder he got Corona virus lately. Baruch Hashem, he recovered but looks like he has not changed his ways with converts. Sorry darling Ashkenazim, but I can't help it: I'm more interested in the Sefardim 😀🌴 Ashkenazim pray too fast for me.... The Birkat hamazon is so fast that I have to always lift up my hands in the air! At home I can pray leat-leat 😅 SLOWLY

    Is there such thing as apostasy in orthodox judaism?
    For example, if an atheist has a jewish mother, is he considered a Jew or a gentile by consensus of the orthodox rabbis?

      Jewish atheists according to jewish law are like gentiles, and not part of the nation of Israel, however if they want to become a religious jew they won't need conversion since they are biologically jewish

      If your mother is a Jew then you were born a Jew! No need to convert .. you just need to have a good loving Rabbi leader to go after. Depending on where you live I recommend going to chabad they are international...

      He is spiritually cut from the Nation, he cannot read the Torah in the Beit Knesset, etc... But, if he leaves this world without making teshuvah, he will still be punished like a Jew (for not doing what a Jew is supposed to do).

      Did you forget the history of Jerusalem? There always been a Jewish community in Israel their ancestral home. The Romans destroyed the temple and wanted expelled the Jews and took them as slaves to Europe. The Roman Empire tried to make the Jews forget about their homeland and they changed the name from Israel to Palestine! And since then the Jews people always cried to have their country. After Hitler Holocaust the UN allowed the Jews to have their own country. A bit of history goes a long way to understand the recent troubles.

    The Great I Am That I Am didn't create Jewish converts, esau mating with a canaanite woman created this madness,TMH created GENTILES converted who don't come from the bloodline of Ham.
    Genesis 36
    King James Version
    36 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
    2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
    3 And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.
    4 And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;
    5 And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan...... These are the enemies of God, just because they change the spelling of the name dosen't mean we (Gods Chosen) won't spot it. Devils
