  • An excerpt from Steve Job's 2005 Stanford commencement speech was slowed down to 185 words per minute from the original 203 words per minute.
    According to the studies by Guo (2014), 185-254 wpm rate led to the highest learner engagement among five different wpm ranges (i.e., 48-130, 130-145, 145-165, 165-185 & 185-254 wpm).
