They must of had a sale on that floral wallpaper in the powder room because this is like the 4th home I've seen with it.
1000 year old doors, who knew Egyptians could make things like that!!!!!
steve coffey 😂😂😂
I wish this video was longer!! I would love to see more details. I also did some research on her and she is so inspiring!
I love the wall paper in the powder room oom
Beautiful! Unfortunately, I'm so broke, I can't afford a house reno like this. I can only afford that plant near the sink and that bowl full of lemons. 😭
lol
What a BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN and I LOVE the pantry‼️🥰
Those doors work beautiful in that space. Love the new fireplace as well.
Gorgeous and elegant! Love the banquet!
I remember a time (2000s) that ppl hated gold fixtures, but it is all we see now! Brass/white/marble.....seems to be the theme for so many designers/clients. They all start to look the same. The house photographs well and it's pretty, but we have seen this look.
Weve seen it but it's still nice. I love it.
@fredrik bergquist its not the use of gold/brass, but the over use of gold/brass as if it is the cure all design trick. Its the new overused thing like uba tuba and black granite use to be.
@@kimt3120 Agreed. It will be around for a while though. Its a nice neutral backdrop for art, artifacts, personal photographs, etc. Unfortunately it does begin to look same ole same ole but I think the point here in this remodel is the amount of space and light they were able to add, not necessarily the materials and finishes. :-) Terri Anne Parsons www.anneparsonsinteriors.com
@fredrik bergquist Right. I think this trend is going to go out as fast as it came in...about 5 years and everyone will be pulling their hardware like they have been pulling it in the 80's and 90's homes I remodel. Brushed Stainless and Oiled Bronze are a nice change from chrome and creates a warmer palette. :-) T Anne P www.anneparsonsinteriors.com
What colors or what kind of designed will you go for. I'm wanting to remodel my kitchen with dark cabinets at the bottom and whit at the top with brass gold handles because it does give it a warm feeling and stands out beautiful. Any suggestions before I go like everyone else??
I adore the pantry doors!
The print in the powder room!! also digging the bar stool color against with the white island.
Those pantry doors! She is so pretty!
Those doors on the pantry are amazing
Love the kitchen.
1000 years ago, Egyptians did not make modern style double doors with cast iron grading. If in fact they were that old, they'd be in a museum and not serve as your pantry doors.
TiggyStardust rich ppl actually travel to places like India, Egypt etc and buy doors off of old homes/monuments. They pay pennies for it but for ppl back in that country it’s prob lot of money.
@@chaank1069 So true! My Uncle was military and has a house full of ancient artifacts from all of his travels just because he can. As much as I appreciate viewing museums, I think it is nice he helped out someone in need in a different country and is actually putting the relics to use.
Eh. If they are special as in from a Palace or from some era where perhaps the entire city was covered under volcanic dust...yes they might be in a museum. Otherwise, they could be 1000 years old. Why not? All it takes is money and a GREAT designer to source the product! T Anne P www.anneparsonsinteriors.com
I think she meant to say 100 years old
I bet the seller lied to her in Egypt lol they do that all the time
Funny enough they were all out of 1000 yr old doors at HomeDepot...I’ll try again next week
That's pretty gullible to believe those doors are 1000 years old.
Okay, it’s clear you don’t get it...the entire point was highlighting the fact that the 1000yr old door claim is BS...sarcasm my friend...you are brilliant enough to spell gullible so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you’ve heard of the whole sarcasm thing, right?
@@You1uji
Obviously you were being sarcastic. Did you think I wasn't on board with your comment? The critique wasn't aimed at you.
@@oltedders got yah
Love the pantry....Attack of the fireplace sounds like a Star Wars movie
In LOVE with the powder room
Stunning~!
This is one of the best I've seen from House & Home.
i really loved the dining table
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ timeless classic look.
omg LOVE the egyptian doors So chic
Love the tiles in the entry way. And the door color. Beautiful together.
This is what this neutral palette is all about - to show off these special features like art, archtecture, artifacts, etc. And to show how a remodel can improve light and space. The acoustics are pretty bad as you can hear her voice echoing. But to fix that she could add some canvas art, upholstery or some drop lighting panels. T Anne P www.anneparsonsinteriors.com
I love the island in the kitchen
I just love it. Sorry - 100% sucker for alllll the trends.
Love the pantry door
I really like this home a lot but that wallpaper is everywhere and doesn’t give the same feel as the rest of the house. I’d love to see a pattern wallpaper that has some of the blue from the front door in it.
Job well done. real nice
She has incredible taste
OK, I HAVE to know how the heck you got your hands on 1,000 year old doors??? Those are so awesome
Beautiful house! Could you please share the colour of that blue door?
Would love to see the rest of the house!
Well done!
Lovely!
This is not the smallest sink in the world, you probably never been to Europe where most toilet have miniature size sink compare to US.
fredrik bergquist here where I live in Belgium it’s normal size sink for guest toilet
Exactly! I happened to find "the smallest vanity sink in the world" by accident. My client wasn't happy. We fixed it though. :-) Just be sure to check sink opening vs. vanity opening FOR the sink when you're remodeling that bath!! T Anne P www.anneparsonsinteriors.com
Agreed. In Russia some bathrooms and toilets are SO small, you'll never be able to fit the sink there, especially in the toilet. You sit on the touilet and can lean on the door with your head, it's that small. So, yeah, not even a 15 cm sink, there's no point, no space and would look awful. American people are very lucky with those huge bathrooms and toilets.
youare bymyside This channel is Canadian by the way.
Woooow waesome 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love the pantry doors! However, a 1000 years old they are not...
The pantry hardly looks functional either. Just a decor shelving arrangement.
CornishPasty what more do you need from a pantry?
@@Hernameispamela
Rows of canned tomatoes.
Absolutely wonderful!
Please let me know source of counter stools . ( not listed !)
Thank you!
Love!
not a fan of the soap bottle placement in the tiny powder room. she runs a company and couldn't install a soap holder into the wall? that big bottle in between the faucet and hot water handle is not cute.
It is interesting to hear when the owner said we loved this house and then completely gutted it.
Every powderroom in the Netherlands has a sink that small. Very normal and standard. Just saying. Beautiful renovation
I like the banquette, the colour is lovely 😊
How can one buy a thousand years old doors? Isn't there some history protection agency to regulate that? Private collection maybe?
8x10 ft. small pantry? That's my bedroom! :D By the way, love the house and the reason to have a big sink! :)
Al Mahdi she didn't even know what to put in there so 90% was decoration pieces
My bedroom is smaller and I share with my son lol..
🔥 🔥🔥🔥
the doors are OVER A 1000 YEARS OLD ?!
Info please for paint you used on your kitchen 😻😻😻 love the colour so much
Where could I find the mirror in the powder room please?!
Where are the kitchen island chairs from?
Black Rooster Decor (Husk leather stool with brass legs)
I love the lighting fixture on her kitchen island. But why is that "E. F. CHAPMAN DARLANA 17-INCH FOYER LANTERN" so expensive? C$1700+ a piece.
What are the wall and kitchen cabinets colors?
What color is that door? 😍😍😍
Love this renovation but that is not the smallest lavatory in the world. I saw something even smaller than that.
Where can I get those kitchen island stool?
Black Rooster Decor (Husk leather stool with brass legs)
Are these the Cleopatra's kitchen doors?
I wonder if this woman is currently adopting adults cuz I want to move there.
Color of kitchen cabinets pls!
Cleopatra herself used these doors :P
1:42 That creepy fake laugh though. 😖
She's a laugher. It's really unnerving.
Oot and aboot 😁😁😁❤️
Lovely but could do wh out th skull in that lovely floral powder room. Only thing in th house that looked out of place
Look very nice but must cost a lot of money to renovate.
Smallest sink ? You’ve never been to Europe...
1st
The old house had such charm and she gutted it. Go buy a new home if you're going to do this.
All it takes is money
Such a colonizer thing to do. Take 1000 year old doors from another country and put them into your home. They must be British!!
this lady's laugh is weird
These white houses are so unoriginal… it’s all you ever see
