This is not only a great video and fun to watch, but it is also the best commercial Seattle Tree Care could ever have made. The value Jacob brings to companies is remarkable and all for the price of a contract climber. Great work!
Preach it brother! 😂
I was thinking the Same """Thing!!!!!!
Yeah I heard Seattle tree care is among the top 10 tree services on the north side of Seattle
@@Randy_Shoeman I once won 3rd place in a race I later found out there was only the 3 of us in the race.😁
I was an 8 or 9 year old boy when, in the early 60s, Dutch Elm disease wiped out all the stately old elms that formed cathedral like tunnels over the streets where I lived on the far north side of Chicago. Teams of men were busy taking them down and all us boys watched with awe as they effortlessly tossed lines where needed and climbed and swung around the trees with the ease and confidence of squirrels or monkeys, with chain saws buzzing and branches falling.
Today I realize they were probably only in their twenties and early thirties and having the time of their lives, but to us kids they all looked like grizzled and tough old men not to be messed with. Thanks for the video and a close-up view of what it must have been like. Well done.
@4:20 NICE JOB!!! That branch barber-chaired just right... barely tapped that roof!
Your ability to put limbs, trees, logs, anything you want EXACTLY where you want never ceases to amaze and impress!!! I love watching you do what you so obviously love doing, and so greatly excell at.
Thanks for bringing us along!!!
He is one of the best climbers I’ve ever seen. My father was a climber till the day he passed away, that was his calling and he loved every minute of it. He was amazing as well I remember being in absolute awe and amazed watching him climb and take down trees when I was a kid. He taught me a lot but My calling in life is being a truck, heavy equipment, and auto mechanic
Peter is just as happy about this as you are if not more so. Love the enthusiasm.
Nice to have you back in the States. Also back in the Big wood again where you belong, doing what you love !
You've taken contract climbing to another level Jacob. Awesome editing and only 5K shy of your previous channel. It seemed like quite the leap of faith just over a year ago. Absolutely amazing what you've accomplished. Congratulations!!!!
Thank you!
It really is something very special!!!
What was his previous channel?
Yes dish the history
So awesome! Always a pleasure to get to work together🙌please say it loud for the folks in the back📣to fall a tree precisely, equally measure and set each side of your hinge to the exact point where you want the tree to land💥wow, what a great tip, thank you Guilty for sharing this old school knowledge passed down through Antone and many others. I’ll never forget how perfect you aimed it between the adjacent trees. That gap you hit was no joke, dead on and no damage to the native understory. What a great shot💯👏🎯
Thanks Peter!
You seem like a rad dude to work with Peter, keep it up!
This is what makes this community so great.
Merry Christmas.. I'm confused about the measurement trick from the hinge.. anyway to explain in a little more detail? Thanks Peter, from Brett in Colorado
@@DiamondTreeCompanyFortCollins hello and Merry Christmas+Happy New Year to you as well.
I’ll try to explain as simple as possible and then I recommend giving it a try. When falling a tree, pick the exact point where you want the tree to fall 30-40ft from the base of the tree. Hook your tape measure on something at that point and walk back to the tree. Using the tape measure mark on the tree and read the tape measure the approximate place you want one side of your hinge to be. Using that exact same measurement, go onto the other side of your hinge and make a mark.
You now have 2exact points perfectly perpendicular in the direction of your intended direction of fall.
Cool simple math trick to align your hinge so the tree falls exactly where you want.
Keep in mind lots of other factors come into play: lean, decay, neighboring trees etc but what a handy quick way to line up a face cut
Perfect👌
Some of the best content on the CZcams. Also, Jake, you have found yourself amid a great crowd, everyone you seem to work with is someone that I myself would enjoy working with, other folks who love their job and are competent and happy. Such good vibes from every video! God bless brother!
Thanks!
I love this crew, great to see you back with them again. Here's to many more videos. Love the content my friend!
Nothing beats an afternoon with Jacob / Guilty Of TREESON! 😊and fresh coffee!! ☕️ 2 ☕️ cups worth!!
This is the 3rd time I’ve watched both, Videos!! The, high energy and the superior level of professionalism that Jacob brings to not only this company, Seattle Tree Care, but to also any company for that matter, simply cannot be beat.
Great, fun and enjoyable video. Peter has to be one of the best supervisors or crew leaders. Communication skills are superior. Hats off!
I agree!
Looking forward to part 2. This is one of your best videos so watchable and having the room to drop big limbs must be a blast. Great to see your subscription numbers growing again, you really deserve much more and I have to say your becoming so good at creating quality content. Best wishes. stay safe J.
Thank you!
Peter with Seattle Tree Care was so nice to invite you to work with them again. Great video Jacob! I can tell you were having a great time today. That was a huge Cottonwood! I am glad Peter knocked that bee hive to the ground. I hate bees, I am allergic to them. Have a great day, I look forward to part 2.
Thank you!
@@GuiltyofTreeson Your very welcome Jacob!
Actually it's a hornets nest! I had one "growing" on the side of my garage. It took 4 cans of spray to kill them all! Lucky I didn't get stung!
Awesome job! Would love to know the running cost per day with all the equipment the use. Can't wait for part 2. Keep up the good work!
If to do it all over again I would have been an arborist- you guys make a incredibly difficult and dangerous profession look easy - thanks for the video.
Another awesome video! I love air mailing massive limbs I got to do a massive ash tree this weekend where we were able to do that… Nothing like it! Love the intro music and the info about your saws as you pull them out of your arsenal. Can’t wait for part two
Your happiness and enthusiasm is contagious!! Thank you for making these videos
Glad you enjoy them!
It's all about the positivity
Now that looked like a fun day at work thanks Peter for letting you bring us along 👊

Peter seems like a cool dude!
That tree makes that 395 look like a toping saw Huuuuuuge!! Great work!
Hey man I really enjoy your videos and the way you depict climbers. We aren’t stupid. We have a set of skills that can only be obtained though experience. We are calculated not reckless.
I love when you are Peter Pan'ing around 26 min. Just flying around without any contact with the trees chopping away. Looks like great fun.
That was a great job. Thanks for taking us along. I would love to have a huge crew come in and blitz my property rather that pick out one by one.
I climb most days but I love these types of videos great job Jake God bless
Just stumbled onto this channel, nice to see JCS saws on the job!!!!!!!!!!

Hair and make up crew is doing a great job. Home boy looks dashing in that intro.

I live when u work with Peter. He's such a good guy.
A time lapse of the entire job would have looked incredible!
Was a ground person for years, feel sorry for your guys, you really put it down there fast!!! LOL
You was having way too much fun there lol
Man I watch literally everyone of your videos! I’ve gravitated towards your videos since back when you done the husky battery saw in that big dead cottonwood. It was a review or almost like a review of that battery 540i saw and man ol man. Since that first video I’ve been hooked. Instagram reels and etc! You and Inbred Jed and Gordy have definitely made me a better climber, hand filer and faller! Also RandyTheMandy showed me a happier sunnier side of the man in me, no longer down in the dumps or the dirt, that’s where my head use to be! 💯🙏🏼💪🏼🔥🤷🏼♂️
Thank you so much
@@GuiltyofTreeson no problem buddy glad to see you getting everything in life that your deserve and more! 💯💪🏼
Good job with those bees you really took one for the team :)
And Jake remember I told you I ordered a pair of boots from JK because of your video I told you they were hurting me so bad when I was gaffing I figured out why the tongue I had it tucked to the side where my gaff goes on and it was digging in to the tongue and I guess pushing it in to my leg never thought about that I put the tongue on the other side wonderful LOL so crazy man thank you God bless
Glad to hear it! But please, don’t make punctuation something that happens to other people 😅
Glad they feel better!
@@rickb3078 I'm a tree guy. I'm not a f****** spelling fanatic you know what I mean you read it right you understood it that's all that matters get some sleep bud. Big day tomorrow lol 😂 haha
Awesome video
Nice job amazing video
I love the video and i lurn much from you hou you cut a Tree Douwn im watching from the Netherlands
Great editing!
Thanks!
Nice job man 💪
Appreciate it!
awesome job
Been waiting for another video! Don’t flip the crane 😜
Great video, I would not have thought of the camera ride down on the crane pick, that was different.
For people from other areas, Cottonwoods are trash trees. They grow fast, and rot out then come down in winter windstorms. I have a wooded lot, and we take them as soon as we realize they're there.
Fantastic video. Seems like that job could have worked quite well with a long reach excavator and grapple saw?
what a cool boss!
the pride stickers on that truck made me happy
Great video Jacob can't wait for part 2 nice see u running with them again. Can I ask a take it your square ground on those saws and do u re grind after every job or just once there dull or what u do with sharpening if you don't grind? 👍🏴
Life on the Edge 👍👍👍
Anouther fine felling. Good work boys.
Thanks!
That saw is sick
😆😆This tree just got less fun... *crane arrives* This tree is FUN again!!!
😂😂😂😂. *mouth full of pizza* "did we get them, Peter??" I love it
