Bought it new as my first bike and have 2,500 miles on it. Never dropped, no close calls, just a ton of fun. Ride it responsibly and you'll be fine.
I also did my license this year and bought the cosmic yellow RS as my very first bike. I've test ridden so many bikes while being in choosing process but on the R / RS I felt so completely perfect. I haven't had that feeling on other bikes like Trident, MT07, MT09, Z650, Honda Hornet, Honda Transalp and many more. I tested them all in just a couple of days so I had a perfect comparison. The R / RS really made me feel best on the bike in total.

It's also my first bike in red and I love it. I have 3000 miles down now and have done a tour with him from Berlin to Cologne and it was perfect. Cornering is super stable even at top speed. The only thing that annoys me is the graphics for the Rev. I can recommend it as a first bike. 😊
that doesnt make it a good begginer bike, because it ISNT, especially in the wrong hands. Plenty people started on a r1 never had any issues, that doesn't mean its a good beginner bike. It's like saying ive smoked for 30 years, I dont have cancer, therefore smoking doesnt cause cancer.
@@stavencapp No bike "in the wrong hands" is safe or beginner-friendly. That's the point. That's why I said, "if you ride responsibly" and I stand by that. The bike is perfectly reasonable as a first bike if you respect it and ride responsibly. A street triple is not even in the same category as an R1.
@@stelkurtain_tm Bought a used 2019 Street Triple R today, it is my first bike. I am 30, did plenty of dealers and sat on a bunch of models and well, this was the most comfortable and well, I basically plan to drive the living shit out of it this summer. If I was 20, I can't say I should've done what I did today but 10 years later, yup, here we are. Paid 10.6k cad with taxes and all, has 2580km on it total. Can't wait to take delivery next week.

I don't believe having classes for licenses is something that would fly unless it was designed differently. If they designed it in such a way that you could test, and then get classified out the gate, that would be viable. I did well enough on my testing that my instructors wanted to know if I would sign up to teach people how to ride, but there was at least one person in the class who shouldn't ride at all even after all the instruction he got.
Yet you crash and not learn
I had my first bike for my frist beginner bike was BMW (310R) 7 years ago, then upgraded to RX 675 for 5 years.
I am now own TU RS 765 in cosmic yellow. I love it so much. I have been riding on for a week. Great bike and so powerful.
he's so right about the R3. I started out on a ninja 250, rode the snot out of it. By the end of the year, I was sliding around while braking, clutchless upshifting, etc. Then when I moved up to a CBR600RR and a CBR 900RR they were such a breeze. But they wouldn't have been for sure if I started on them before.
Have fun on the low CC bikes. My little sister's R3 was way more fun than my CBR 600RR every time.
Learn maintenance, learn your limits, upgrade your gear, learn the limits of the bike, and then if you feel like bumping up, do so knowing that you have the skills and respect for the increased capabilities to do so.
And trade in / sell your beginner bike for pretty much close to what you paid for it. They hold their value so well.
Or keep it and ride it when you get bored of not being able to take your bigger to redline as often :D

I've seen people upgrade fast and die or crash. I've also seen people ride a small cc bike and go to a 600cc and then get scared. Don't listen to the people who say," You will get bored fast, just get an R1 or big cc bike". Going fast in a straight line anyone can do that. Learn how to take corners, stop properly, how to trail brake, how to rev match, etc. Get that lower cc bike like Chase said and learn. Get it used, go sign up for a motorcycle class, then go to some track days and get your skills honed. Then Go buy that bigger cc bike, or maybe you love the small cc platform. That's the best thing about bikes, you don't NEED a big cc bike. I have friends that have had their 300s and 400s for years and have an absolute blast on them. Shit, there is Grom groups all over the place and those guys have the time of their lives on a 125cc bike. Basically, start small and used and see what you like from there. Get some skill and go from there. Get some gear and be safe out there.

@@manduloykts179I'm just giving my advice from 10+ yrs of personal riding experience & seeing others make the same mistake. In the end you make your own decisions with your life and money. In 5 years', time you can have multiple bikes. If you get a used starter bike and maybe put some money into crash protection, simple exhaust, you can save for the next bike or sell that one towards the next one. Or you can keep it as a track toy and really hone your skills and become a better rider and really experience what you never will on the street. Or you can just get a liter bike right away and either never become an actual good rider, possibly seriously injure yourself, kill yourself, or maybe you are just some motorcycle prodigy and can handle a liter bike right away and become the next Moto GP champion lol. Either way, atleast here in the USA, you can do whatever you want. People who have the experience can only give advice. Whether people take it is on them. All I will say is there are people who have 125cc or 300s or 400s etc for years and have the time of their lives. Speeding isn't everything. Sometimes on the big bikes especially commuting those bikes a re just unbearable and I wish I had a smaller bike again. Either way, you won't know until you go try some bikes out. That’s crap. Do 55 round a 50 bend and you’ll crash on a 765. Do 55 round a 50 and you’ll crash on a 125. Riders on smaller bikes take more risks overtaking, on a larger bike you’ll pass them so much quicker. It’s all about rider ability not bike size. The more skilful you think you are, the faster you go, experience often becomes complacency.
One of the best and most understated reasons to not start on this level of motorcycle…..appreciation. Starting on other bikes will make you love the Triumph so much more! I just put a deposit down on one of my own. After years on used bikes…I’m so excited!!

I started on a brand new Street Twin 900 (approx 60HP). Dropped that sucker dozens of times. Had crash protection, which helped tremendously assuage fears of dropping the bike. Traded it in after putting a few thousand miles and 2 years on it.
The 2019 Street Triple R was the first and only bike I’ve had. I never really understood the beginner bike thing, I took the basic rider course, then after that I understood how to operate a bike. I really felt like I could ride any bike after that, I don’t think if I got a 200hp bike I’d accidentally hit the throttle too hard and accidentally go 150 mph. You can push any bike as hard as you feel comfortable, I don’t really get why people say you need a less powerful bike to start out.
a lot of people would smack that shit, die and cause problems in the aftermath. Its not impossible to start on the intermediate or crazier bikes but it definitely isnt for everyone to ride a bike, and the bigger ones even less.

I'm 37 and started riding 20 months ago. CRF 250l ($4,700) for 10 months before getting an 18' RS ($7,500). I don't regret starting with the CRF and kept it for trail riding with my daughter and its versatility, but the RS is a completely different experience.
More power and handling ability than I can extract on the street (or track), torque everywhere (which makes me feel like a better rider than I am by not having to work the gear box constantly), high rev range, and the brakes are good enough to save my ass from mistakes. The brakes come on and release very gentle, but they have the ability to flip you over or slam you down if you overload too quickly. I don't know if I would even experiment with trail breaking on a less capable bike.
I want to experience a cruiser and ADV, but I will never not have a middle weight naked. The street triple has been at the pinacle of that class from the start. I love the styling, power, handling, brakes, weight/height, and the unique sound.
Thank you for reading my love letter to the Street Triple and Mr. Chase on 2 wheels. I appreciate your perspective and for being an integral part of the "youtube" motorcycle culture. I don't have any family or friends that ride, so I had no personal guidance. Your channel and others educated me on how to ride and what bikes make sense for me.

I had a Trident as my first bike and traded it for one of these in less than a year, the cosmic yellow was just too enticing, and crashed it after 4 months. It's not necessarily too fast to be a beginner bike, but it really makes you push harder and harder. Definitely not a beginner bike.
Its absolutely too fast for a beginner for exactly the reason you demonstrated.
You were lucky that when you crashed you walked away, a lot of people dont.
I've been riding over 20 years now - can't imagine giving a lightweight, 120+hp naked bike to some noob and expecting it to end well.
How was the trident when it comes to maintenance and part cost?
Yeah the issue is, with so much power on tap, new riders may start off dawdling around riding it like its a 250, they start to get confidence, then start pushing it more and more. It very quickly gets to the point that they start riding outside their ability, and a bike like this is far less forgiving.
@@stavencapp I crashed because I was trying to get my knee down. Definitely a skill issue rather than the bike, but it has an attitude that makes you want to do things like that. I probably wouldn't have even bothered trying to get my knee down on the Trident.
started on a 250 and moved up to a 650. outside of wanting all the bikes, i am pretty happy with my 650. i don't need anything bigger and starting on the 250 made it much easier to move up.
I started on a 160 trail bike (Honda nrx 160 bros) and it was great, the bike is very light (although it feels a bit heavy due to the high center of gravity) and very manageable. That being said, it still took me a few years of experience riding everyday to everywhere I had to go in order to feel 100% comfortable to it. And by comfortable I mean without any questions or hesitations before doing any sort of maneuver, whether it beeing on the streets, roads, dirt roads, muds, traveling under HEAVY rain, riding at night under heavy rain and many other situations. From my experience, geting a bike like this as yours first is going to severally hinder your learning experience, and might couse you to have some very unpleasant events. The throttle and brakes of these bikes are hard to master at first due to how strong they are, and a beginner will always have the innate impulse of griping and twisting their hands when in a situation of potential danger. It takes time to code the propper response in your brain, and the lack of it can cost a broken bone and a broken bike. Still it is a possibility, but you'll pay the price with time. Started on a 2018 KTM Duke. Just moved to a R version and it’s amazing. Definitely happy with the move up
My wife is 5'5 and rides an RS; no problems for her. This is her 3rd motorcycle. This thing is pretty mental in track mode too; such a great motorcycle.
Bought a 2018 Street Triple R as my second ever bike, have had it ever since and got like 12k miles on it. I think that it is one of, if not the best second bike for a lot of people that want a versatile, really sporty bike

Chase, got the 2023 RS (in yellow) as my first bike and didn't fully appreciate your conclusionary comments until I took a few less premium bikes out for a test ride. My conclusion, I am SO appreciative that I have a Street Triple RS as my first bike!

Just picked up my red Striple RS last month and wow, it really is an amazing bike! But…I think starting on a used ninja 250 and then moving to an R6 really made me appreciate this bike even more
Man yes. I just sold my 2020 r6 for a 2024 street triple Rs. I’m in love ! Comfortable and can kill in the corners, brakes will make the hair on the back of ur neck stand up. Wahoo!
Got myself a Ninja 400 to start on recently and the power is good but not scary. It is also very light and I don't feel like I will drop it. That is what you need in a beginner bike. I have a great bike to practice and hone my skills until I feel ready to get a Street Triple. Motorcycling is a journey, don't rush it, enjoy it!
I bought a 2012 street triple R as a first bike after almost 1 year in a Z650 in the driving school and I've been 100% in love, the only bike I would ever trade it for, is a newer street triple!
Started on Aprilia Shiver 750 then bought Ducati Monster 821 and now this Street Triple RS 2024 and i agree with you, previous bikes were also one of the best bikes but after i have purchased this triumph all of them are not a match
I’ll be honest, I went like 2 years without riding, got one of these to ride again, and the first thing I told the guy who sold it to me was that this bike is no beginner bike. It’s truly too much torque for someone who’s not familiar with riding. It’s a fantastic bike. If not the perfect bike, for riding on the road around the town you live in. But it’s one of those bike if you don’t respect it, it will definitely kill you. Awesome video man
Have a 2014 Street Triple in Cosmic Green. My second bike after a 88 Kawasaki 500. Had it for 5 years. Still love it. I don't know what else I would buy if I had to get something else. I'm not a cruiser guy but I would like to ride a Diavel.

Also, brought my Striple RS home a few weeks ago. It's been absolutely brilliant. This is my 5th bike in the last 10ish years and I think you're right about not starting off on one to learn to appreciate it once you do actually have it. I've never had brakes this good on a bike and it really made me appreciate it that much more!
While I wouldn't say it is beginner bike, I wouldn't say it isn't good for beginners who already rode something smaller previously or rode some years before and now getting back to bikes. If really necessary you can start riding in rain mode which is 100HP. Also this bike is really tame, not a huge torque, doesn't do anything stupid and if you keep your brain connected when hopping on this bike you are safe. It is actually so easy to ride that I was really surprised. I have older model 2021 but it is already amazing and now even better and safer with IMU, Stylemas etc. so if you can afford one, want one and are beginner with at least some previous experience with lower power bike and want this one, go for it.
That’s me. My beginner bike was a kz900 20 years ago. Haven’t rode many road bikes in that long but I did have a crf450r and also a KTM 510 exc. I jumped on a 2024 Street Triple 765 RS and decided it was great, I really had my heart set on the Speed Triple but after seeing the 2024 Street Triple being available and in Carnival Red I said F it and bought it. I’ve learned that it was a better choice than the Speed because triple digits is not fun on a naked. Couldn’t imagine a 180mph naked bike after riding this. I may still get a Speed but I probably won’t.
I would agree. I started on a 2021 model as my first bike but I do have some little experience riding a 100cc bike.
I went from an old SV650 to a royal Enfield Continental GT, to a 2022 Street Triple R. It's a proper weapon. Reminds me of an SV650 with all of the stats maxed out.
I really like the colors now available. Having done five motorcycle track days, I can now appreciate the fully adjustable suspension and the nicer brakes of the RS. But as a street machine, does a 765 have enough more than my 14675 for me to drop 13k?

My first bike was a 2008 street triple and man I loved that thing. 105hp so no Panigale but it was more than quick enough for road use. I sold it a couple of months ago as I wanted a performance car and bought a BMW M135i 3.0litre straight six. I’ve had the car a month and I’m already bored and want another street triple. Bikes are just on a different level unless you can afford a mclaren 😂
dude I am in the exact same situation, started riding about 5 years ago and started with an R3, then had a gsxr 1000r for a few years, sold it and got the new M4. I also agree cars are more boring than fast bikes haha.
they are expensive af too. even expensive bikes I can just buy in all cash, not have to pay interest ot expensive comprehensive coverage, and way more fun. Right now i’m looking at ducatis and triumphs!

When I took my license in 2015, I did it on a Kawasaki Z1000 -10 with Acrapovic slip-ons. and 136+ hp. And i kept it for my first 3 years as a biker. No issues, just pure fun. 😉

Good advice. Got this as a first bike after borrowing a cruiser occasionally last summer. It’s defiantly too much power - haven’t even given it over 50% throttle aside from on 6th on the highway.
130 bhp how is that too much? I’ve got the 22 Speed Triple Rs 177 bhp it’s no problem at all but it’s a waste of power because I never use it

14:07 - Street Triple cuts on the edge of naked sport-bike while the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 tops out the cruiser. You should do a comparison ride video. 2 very different bikes that are strangely similar.
Thank you for defining a beginner rider. When I took MSF I was surrounded by 'beginners' who had ridden motocross for 10+ years on the parents' farm and decided to get their road license, or guys from India who had been riding for 15+ years and were being forced to take it for insurance purposes.....these people are not beginner riders.
Bought a RS 2 years ago as my first and only bike. It is very possible to start on this bike as long as 2 things are kept in mind. #1 Rain mode to lower the power. I did this for the first 6 months. #2 DONT BE AN IDIOT. Respect the hell out of this machine. It's stupid quick. If you aren't a teen and you feel like you can manage those 2 things I say go for it. However I realize a lot of people aren't able to control themselves. I've put over 7k miles on it since purchase. BTW 2 more things. I'm 6'6 and there was no way in hell I was going to ride a 300 or 400. Also the whole "you will drop your bike." thing really freaked me out. I have not dropped my bike despite daily city riding. *knocks on wood* I have come close once though. I know statistically it's just a matter of time. Just saying don't obsess over this like I did.
Meaning that I have experience on this I will throw my input here: I have a 2022 street triple r as my first bike and I have been riding it for almost a year, it IS NOT a beginner bike. It has enough power that you won’t get bored but if you disrespect that power it’ll throw you off. Sure the rider modes help but each one can still put you on the ground. It’s also more expensive and will boast a higher insurance cost because this is more of a premium bike. Overall any bike can be a beginner bike but making a mature decision on what bike you get and how you ride that bike will determine how the bike will fit you.
I have the 2023 model of the street triple, and came from a 250cc single, the bike is great and I love the experiences that I've had while riding it, the sound, the surge of power, the quick shifter and I have to say that definitely the triple IS NOT a beginner bike, not even in rain mode because in rain mode the throttle map is lazy until WOT so the rider will not use it, the problem is that someone that is looking for a bike and comes from the car scene might read the power number and think that is not much, but oh boy...
I started on a g310r and now I'm looking for one of these. Absolutely thrashed the g310r safely and I am confident in upgrading to a bigger bike. I will also upgrade my skills and expertise by enrolling in advanced classes and additional training. Don't just upgrade the gear, upgrade your driver mods too!
if you do a lot of miles on it, like commute, i highly recommend tiger 660, its very sporty as well for commuter.

in a proper trained hand this bike can give a taste of dust to panigale v2,v4 on track. the power to weight ratio and linear power band with more inclined line of graph literally can put any beginner to trained rider in difficult situation. This bike deserves maturity.. don't go by its light look.
Good advice, Chase. I love my cosmic yellow RS, but I would never recommend one as a beginner bike; that'd be just asking for trouble! A small used bike you don't mind dropping at a standstill is definitely the way to go. If a beginner really wants to start with a new bike, I'd recommend a KTM 390 Adventure.

Why ? The Street Triple is tame , it’s easy to ride the power is pretty lame imo, I had the Speed Triple 1200Rs and that was definitely a powerful bike but the Street Triple is no big deal
I would contend that the Suzuki SV650 is a good option for a beginner also. Nice job on the video too. I like how it has been edited.
I've got a '20 765 R. I've been riding for almost 20 years and can tell you that this is a great platform for all around riding. It's got plenty of power, nice in traffic, and is plenty comfortable. I'm 5'5", 140 lbs. Mine is lowered a touch as well.

I have actually started on a 2021 street triple rs as my first bike. To me this would be a great beginner bike BUT only if you have ridden a smaller bike once or after you finished your motorcycle license. You just need to have a basic understanding of riding of a smaller bike before riding a performance motorcycle.
Been riding the Street Triple RS a couple weeks ago due to choosing process. Made my license on a BMW F900 R and currently on a Kawasaki ER-5 Twister (500cc) and I have to say that the quickhifter on the Streety is extradinary. And I´m waiting for the the new MT09 for test riding. - the ER-5 will be the bike for daily shit and the newer bike will be for longer trips (Approx 200km or more) ... its currently either the RS - MT09 - It´ll be a three cylinder bike.

i agree with you, new riders should start in 250cc to 400cc to the learn basics, ive seen a lot of Riders from the US get into accident after buying new bikes in the parking lot of the dealership, some get into accident even on a slight bend curve on a freaking 4 lane highways, some get into target fixation and crash, others get easily panicked and does not know the braking rule of 40/60 etc. its much safer to start on cheap bike since its forgiving and the way US health care system works and how expensive it is.

Street triple is the best bike I've ever owned and plan on keeping it till the engine blows. Can be a great beginner bike but don't buy a new one simply because it's a 15k toy you're going to drop or wreck. Also you'll go your entire riding career wishing you still had your street triple vs whatever you own at that current time.
I got a Trident as a starter and moved over to this after about 9 months.
Man this is such a beautiful bike. The only bike I’d chose over a fared bike
my first bike is a 2009 FZ-6 and i love it its not really super powerful till you get up to like 10k rpm and it sounds nice

Im 46yrs old just started riding a year ago on a ninja 400 the street triple is my next bike. Going to get the lower seat im only 5ft 4in
Beautiful bike!!! Looks like power wise, it is close to my 2023 Indian FTR 1200 except for the torque. My Indian has about double and a pipe/cat delete/tune will put it up around 150hp on the Indian and over 100 ft/lbs of torque.... Considering this bike is about $6k cheaper says a lot!

I got a Triumph 765 RS as a first bike. I agree with you! Is a fast and powerful bike but at the same time is very forgiven and easy to ride. I took my license 1 year ago but i have been on trafic as car driver for about 18 years now. Its no problem to drive the 765 RS as a first bike if you ride with responsibility. This bike is the perfect bike you can get if you love sport, street , track and regular day driving. This bike work everywhere ist like a jocker 😂. The only sad thing that mine is gray. I want that yellow so bad but could not find it anywhere here in sweden 😢. Sweds love gray color for unknown reason. Thanks for this awesome video.
I have a couple friends that took licenses with gsx 750 or what it is called.. and has around 115-120 hp if I'm not wrong.
It all comes to handle the power in the correct way.
And I know the basic stuff but didn't reach the license but I'm considering buying a Honda CB650R or a Street Triple to take license with.
Cb650R is a better choice if you want to take license!
I just bought bmw s1000r but still have street triple rs as sa fun bike. The s1000r is like next level. You cant hate it but would absolutely not recommend it as beginner bike
My first bike was a Duke 390. Put over 10 thousand miles on it, I never dropped it, never crashed. I purchased the street triple as a second bike and I dropped it in a parking lot the first week I got it. (I forgot to put the kickstand down 🫠)
Im looking to get back into riding. I rode a SV650 for 2 years before selling it to afford a surgery i needed. the RS is something I have always loved the idea of. Though it has been 4 years since I have ridden a motorcycle. I'm not necessarily considering a brand new Triumph. Been looking into used. I love naked bikes. But I am having a hard time drawing my attention away for the Street Triple R and RS.
As a newer rider. Less than 2 months, 2300 miles, and afew mods on my belt. I do feel my Z400 is lacking. And im not even a big rider. If fact I dont flat foot that bike and im 140lbs. I think a 650 is the best bike for a beginner, not to say the 400 is bad. Its fairly quick to 60. But after that its pretty slow to accelerate. As for chicken strips I got small strips on the rear, but i feel pretty confident.
More RPM (like more happy zone 😊), more braking power (brembo stylema) and better suited to the track day (moto2) 💛💛💛 And Cosmic Yellow is awesome 🤩

My first bike was an 883 Harley sportster. I went to a triumph triple 33 years later. Never going back to a twin!
I absolutely agree with the idea that it would be a shame to start on this motorcycle and not realize just how good everything is, it's not all about the power numbers. I went from a Ninja 300 to a ZX-6R after a few seasons and gosh that motorcycle blew me away. The engine smoothness, the power of the braking system, the throttle response, the feeling when cornering. You need to experience something more basic to truly appreciate such a performance motorcycle!
Lol, all my friends tell me I don't know how good I have it. I use this bike as my daily commuter.
My street triple has so much power. Specially you get it in the upper RPMs. It feels like it’s about to tear my arms off and if you downshift it in a lower gear then give it the gas, the front end just comes right up in sport mode. It’s an insane motorcycle, and I absolutely love it, but if you’re a beginner with no dirt biking experience or no riding experience, I think the trident or the tiger 660 would be a better motorcycle for you to develop your skills. I’ve been riding motorcycles for 40 years.
Honestly, if I was starting today I would probably look at the Suzuki GSX 8R over the ninja 650 if you have some riding experience. But I’m not an expert. I’m just a crazy old guy on a street triple who is trying not to lose his license. Ride at your own risk.
The only one problem that I have with the Street Triple 765 is I don’t wanna ride any other motorcycle. There’s just nothing like it.

my beginner bike was a street triple 675 r 2013 only with abs and 106 hp and 183 kg. it was my best choice. before, i was ridden an gsxr K2 with 160 hp and no abs, and this for 3 month, to testing out. i love the simple. but the supersport is a little to uncomfortable for me.
ya my first bike was a hawk 250, some offbrand of honda or whatnot, only went like 60 mph, was an enduro, my first time ever riding it, i didnt not stall, but i already had and understanding of how clutches worked lol, but ya i dropped that bike, and in 2021, i was on a friends bike, and i was coming to a stop sign, was too tired to have been riding i think lol, and i dropped the bike, was 2 heavy to catch, but ya i was also raised on bikes lol

Street triple rs’ are definitely great bikes. Wouldn’t recommend for a beginner, that front wheel comes up extremely easy. And he isn’t lying about the service prices. I paid $650 for a 6000 mile service on my 2020. That’s $50 more than my buddies Aprilia RSv4 Factory’s 6000 mile service lol
I know someone who started on a 2018 STRS but idk what ever came of it. He was definitely riding it responsibly, but I think it was because he was scared of it. That usually doesn’t last too long. I think it’s possible but I wouldn’t do it. Even though I’m not happy I spent 7 years on cruisers because it definitely held me back from learning. But it did give me a good base to build on when I got my MT-09 and I still laugh at how ridiculous it is on the street

I started this year to ride with a street triple 675r 2014. I think for me it was a really good choice. But the 765 i never ride
If someone who'd just past their, big bike, test tried to get straight on a RS, they wouldn't find a company to cover them. I have a clean license and, at the time, 3 years no claims discount - my bike was stolen, no accident; I was quoted nearly £4,000 for insurance for the R. Not even the RS. I live near London. Which is a problem. But still, you need to factor in these extravagant costs too.

I am really digging these bikes, I have a 2019 FTR s and was think about trading in. Would that be foolish? Cause I've seen that's the 2019 FTR s are in high demand compared to the new ones.

I mean there IS a 660 LAMS version thats limited to like 42hp but can be unrestricted to the full 95ish hp... So that could be a good "first bike" variant.

When i have reached the top speed on my Street Triple R with around 14 000 rpm i ... DONT ... think its a proper beginner bike.But on the other hand i bought a Hayabusa short after owning a CB 750.Maybe i should be happy to live in a European country where we have three different driver licenses for these bikes, light, medium and heavy power bikes when the ambulances have lots to do already as it is.😄

I've been riding cruisers for 5 years and am pretty comfortable on them. Do you think this would be too big of a jump for a sport oriented bBTW. I think these are really cool and want a 2nd bike for carving up backroads and riding locally. Great video too!
My first bike was a cruiser, and my second bike was a super sport. I find this to be an excellent middle ground, definitely more towards a supersport experience but with less pain and the same wind blast as a cruiser

I'd probably put someone on that before I would my bolt-on/flashed mt10 putting 150 to the wheel😮.

Quit futsing around; This bike kicks ass and you know it! Not a beginner bike simply because it takes experience to appreciate what this model of Triumph delivers.

I'd start on this. Why not. To get a full unrestricted motorcycle licence in the U.K the test and lessons are taken on on £600cc
