Leaving Kyiv On A Refugee Train đșđŠ

- đșđŠ With reports that the city of Kyiv was soon to be closed off I decided the best thing to do was to join the crowds and leave for the border before being stuck. Whilst it was a sad to see the people leaving their homes behind and taking their kids and pets with them towards an uncertain future it also showed the best of the people. Spirits were high, nobody panicked, people shared food and drinks with each other. It was humbling to be a part of it.

Hm, Ukraine would classify as a second world country actually.
@Dalara Razan I'm Syrian. Russia supports Assad and bombs Syrian cities every day. Ukraine is another victim of Putin. Slava Ukraini!
The moment when you touch part of the candelabra in the Kiev railway station broke my heart.... It looked like saying goodbye to the city, with no certainty that you will ever see it in the same condition. I believe you will! Ukraine is a wonderful country with wonderful people. The station will survive, the city will survive and the whole country will survive!
Hopefully not one of the last to touch it
Hopefully many many more years ( hundreds) of peaple touching the candelabra đ
Yes, that really got me too!đ
I was thinking the same.. you can feel the emotions just from watching
yes it will exist with Russia as it should
First time I saw you so scared and I almost felt your pain , thank you for showing real things and without being judgemental , stay safe xxx

Slava Ukraini - The greeting Glory to Ukraine! , response - Glory to the heroes! became an official slogan of Stepan Bandera's Nazi-allied OUN-B in April 1941. During World War II, Ukrainian nationalists often used it in addition to a roman salute.

the emotional power of this video is more intense than anything else I've seen yet. It broke my heart. Slava Ukraini.
Slava Ukraini, Raviolli, Musolini. You might want to research the origins of this chant.
@@BrentonWoods774 Isn't that a Ukrainian nazi chant? If so, europeans have very short memory of WW2, which is we should expect there to be WW3 soon.
Thanks in no small part to the US regime.
@@tigading2177 Yes, this is a Ukranian Nazi greeting. Many people aren't even aware they're aiding nazis, cause the west brainwashed them good.
@DungeonKeeper What I'm saying is, they are not Nationalists - they are NAZIS.
Thanks for taking us along and showing us the side that we wouldn't otherwise see. From an American, I hope i get to visit Ukraine some day and meet these amazing people. Good luck fellas
Everyone deserves to see this video, it's as close as we will get to a first hand experience of knowing what Ukraine is like right now, without being in the thick of it. Thank you for sharing this Bald đ

@@Sweatcheck69 I love this channel too but you're really going to disrespect the war reporters literally on the scene of the actual battles? Wtf? Just saw coverage today where they were on a bridge immediately after a battle with dead bodies & blown up vehicles everywhere still smoking, & the reporter almost stepped on a grenade that didnt go off.
Yeah the MSM is normally s****,* but that doesnt mean the actual good reporters risking their lives like that should be s***** on when they're ACTUALLY doing war time reporting on the front lines
Dude, bald, I almost started crying when you were helping people onto the train. You have a beautiful heart man.
He had me when he held onto that kid to keep them from getting lost in the crowd.
Itâs easy to be cynical, but, what he is doing is showing us, at the most human level the absolute
Cost of this unfolding situation, that we wouldnât see in the mainstream news.
And at 8:52, before they closed the door, he also offered to give up his seat, so more children could get on the train. Bravo, Benjamin! đđ»đđ»đđ»

Very well done Ben, you're a good reporter: as so many have said below, you've given the plight of the people of Ukraine a face and what brave and courageous one it is too. They're worthy of great admiration and all our love.
This is hands down one of the best pieces of journalism I have seen regarding the War In Ukraine. I know from personal experience being in a foreign country's national emergency is incredibly scary, but I and the world appreciate your willingness to document history.
