Riding Mexico's Deadly Migrant Train: The Beast

- 🇲🇽 PART THREE: Ask any migrant heading north to the USA which part of the journey they fear most and they will all answer with two words: La Bestia. In English it is translated to The Beast and it deserves the name. Terrible things happen to people on The Beast, from kidnap by the cartel, robbery by immigration officers or just losing a limb below its rolling wheels. And yet myself and @TimmyKarter knew that if we wanted to really experience the Caminante lifestyle then we too would have to face the dangers and confront the very thing migrants fear most...Join us!
@TimmyKarter CZcams channel is a place to find our journey from his own perspective. I highly recommend you check it out. Thanks again to him for inviting me on this journey and translating whenever I didn't understand something. Would have been ten times harder without him.
A request: as you know I have never asked anyone to like, subscribe or watch my videos but I have a favour to ask. Unfortunately our good friend and heroic caminante @timmykarter fell very sick after I left Mexico and was hospitalised for an operation. His medical bills were not covered by his insurance and they were astronomical. He is now under sedation. If you want to help out I ask you to go to his channel after this and watch a video or two of his. Leave a supportive message for him to read when he wakes up and drop some likes. It will take you a few minutes only. He’s a great lad as you know from watching the vids he’s appeared in and is going through a really tough time, sick in a foreign country just before Christmas. Sharing some good vibes will help him a little bit. #prayfortimmy
Really?? I hope he get better quick!

It's virtue signaling and narcissisms mixed into one. The emotional high he felt from donating a few dollars to a couple people thinking that he is saving central America. It is utterly disgusting that our governments promote the death and destruction of other countries until they are forced to flee.
Such heartless people on this thread.
You reap what you sow.....never forget that.
So much respect for the people showing love by giving them water, food and medicine. That was truly amazing.
There are no news outlets, journalists or anyone covering this story like this. Well done Bald. You absolutely legend!
They (the media) wants to cover up the failures of the Biden admin… that’s why. Failure, weakness, chaos sums it up they wouldn’t dare show what’s going on
That's a fake news job. No jurnolist will cover something that's actually relevant
I suppose the big media outlets aren't doing it but many independent journalists and media have been covering this for years.
@@_ata_3 and that’s a huge disservice to the public…
There was. I saw one documentary before but don't remember which one.
It's not surprising to see cable TV dying when you can get high-quality videography, storytelling and action by independent CZcams channels, such as Bald and Bankrupt. I pulled the plug years ago and have learned so much more about the world due to channels like this.
Absolutely! When have you ever seen this quality and prospective on a television show?! All the reporters talk to the audience with a condescending but patronizing tone. I wanted to know more about the Darien Gap. Now I know way more than I wanted to know about topics I didn’t know I needed to learn about.
Agree. Why anyone pays good money for streamers when you can get great stuff like this is beyond me.
I quit watching tv 10+ years ago you get dumber if you watch that garbage just like parents said back in the day
I've never plug that thing in, stay close to the earth and the roots, cheers from Romania!
You are right!
This video has really opened my eyes to the plite of these people, I become more conservative as I get older but seeing the heart, determination and grit they have makes me want to roll out the welcome to America carpet. It's people like this that made America what it is today and we certainly need more people like this in our country. These migrants are some of the most patriotic citizens we have in America. They don't come here to b**** whine and complain, they actually come here to make America great again.
This was so well done. I hope you get some kind of a reporting award for this. No documentary could’ve done it the way you did very well done. Thank you for sharing this.
This is not an ordinary CZcams video. This is a documentary. A deep professional dive into the world of migration. Videos like this should be treaded as they are. Professional grade documentaries into a world that few have the balls to talk about. Once again, i am reminded why this is my most favorite channel on CZcams. Thank you Mr bald..
This isn't even close to a deep dive. This is more of a toes in a shallow pool of simple migration. The actual migrant situation is 100 times worse than what he presents it to be and something needs to be done about it.
@@zioncardman18 well Bald did mention it many times how bad it can get.
@frostflower5555 exactly, "mentioned" you can't just show one side of a story.... you need to show both sides maybe 3-4 different sides. To get a true understanding.
@@zioncardman18 did you ever see any reporter cross the jungle with the hordes of refugees, without food and water and cover every day of it? Or to cross illegally three countries, be a stowaway on a train , try to run away from immigration checkpoints and officers, and sleep on the dirt next to hungry people that walked for hundreds of kilometers with nothing but hope in theirs pockets? This is a deep dive , or at least deeper than anyone has ever been before..

Hello, i am about to start watching this series.
Is the third part the final part? Did he made it to the US?
You should get some award for taking such a brave step, to experience just like any immigrant how much trouble and pain they going through it is unimaginable.
Come over to Chicago and New York and do a video on how it is at the end. Show it to people coming over to warn them of what it's really like when they get here.
Thats what I was thinking watching this video. Do these people not realize how bad it is for the illegal immigrants here in the US? Why come you’ll be robbed and owe debt the rest of your life.
I love Bald’s videos, but this one was interesting to see what it’s really like, but I feel like he’s encouraging them. If they are really in fear for their lives they are supposed to seek asylum in the 1st country they come to. These people are economic migrants and that’s not a reason to grant asylum, unless Biden illegally changes our immigration laws. I’m sure he knows of our border invasion and how our tax dollars are paying for them while US citizens are getting kicked out of schools to let illegals stay there and we’re paying $5k a mo per migrant at the Roosevelt in NYC, free Uber, free babysitting and maid service…while many Americans and our dear veterans are homeless.
@@debbiemeyer7666 Biden created this mess on day one. He encouraged it. He destroyed, or threw a wrench into every good thing Trump did.
Biden could care less what this is doing to towns, and cities. He is a despicable man as far as I am concerned.

100% agree!
There are many legal avenues to come to America. There are many needy people from countries who can't run themselves. It is unfair to the American people and to those who have sought a legal route of immigration. If they're sneaking in there is a good chance they have already been deported for crimes. Trump was not wrong when he called them out. Many of them are mules or gang members. The American people are not responsible fro their plight but must absorb the brunt of it. Texas ranchers are killed/ gangs flourish in sanctuary cities and spies from every American adversary flow in by the thousands on a weekly basis. There are up to 10000 illegals that come into America on a daily basis, many of whom displace America's own downtrodden in sanctuary cities homeless shelters. Veterans are dying of hypothermia on the streets of New York.

Coming from an American completely against illegal immigration:
I wish there was a better way for these people to seek immigration. But having as many illegal immigrants as we do, it creates a lot of problems, extra stress on our emergency facilities they're not paying taxes for etc.
Part of this is from the USA providing terrible health care, but it's not fair to the ones paying nearly 30-40% of their earned paychecks.
Your videos and other youtubers have definitely opened my eyes to it, but I also see daily the struggles our own Americans go through, we have enough people who need help, before we can help other countries people.
I pray all these people find their peace and are able to create a good life, but not illegally in America respectfully.
Coming from a non American, I have to wonder. Why not allow them to come in legally through your borders and make the whole process easier (from my understanding, people are doing this because getting visas and migrating through conventional means are just too expensive). Let them work legally so that they can pay their share of taxes. Let the skilled among them join the healthcare workforce and allow their children to find education so they can one day do the same. Let them construct their own housing. America is a big place, and with so many people coming in, theres so much opportunity to build more.
You're completely incorrect. Undocumented migrant workers pay their taxes and don't see any benefits in return.
@@2TrillSenna Dont they need social security to file taxes? If they are without status, how could they have gotten social security?
Coming from an immigrant I agree on some aspects, I too wish there was a better more supportive way to welcome immigrants at a reduced influx to keep the border controlled. 90% of those that cross are here for good reasons, they just wish to work and provide and hope their children and live off better then they did. However not everyone will do that which is why I’m all for border regulation
@@minotaur818and answering the taxes question, you need an ITIN to pay your taxes which does not require a social, that’s how I paid taxes before I finally received my permanent residency
As someone who supports lawful immigration to the US. I was more than touched by this video. This gave me so much more insight and a personal connection to the migrants. They dont put things like this on the news. Keep up the great work!
This makes me worried about our US borders a little lol
we mustve watched two different videos bc all these ppl are longing for a better life and to work. no reason to be worried@@yosterdaniel1213
@@user-ie4yh1sr9jWe can't give aid to enemies. We must take care of ourselves first. We can't give free housing to them while I sleep outside!
When I heard the shooting they were a terrible shot.
They can't fix where they lived so they want what we lost and now we take care of them!
@@user-ie4yh1sr9j oh yes, because that is the same 🙄
@@user-ie4yh1sr9j thats literally nothing like it. I support lawful immigration, but that doesnt mean im not a human, unlike you.
These last two episodes must be your finest work yet. You've set the bar high
This is definitely one of the best You tube Video watched by me. This is much better than lot of Hollywood thrillers.
this was really eye opening. thank you
I was having a good time watching this until 32:00, seeing the kid scramble up the train really hit me. This is a wild journey in a messed up world.
Really! A have the same one at home... I'm crying.
Yep, that was tough to watch 😔
Should've stayed home then and not broken the law
This can't continue to be the only solution for these poor people. Something seriously needs to be done.
@@beatnik6806There's something called an immigration system. Otherwise they need to work on building their own country. South America can't be a 3rd world continent forever.
Literally brought tears to my eyes watching those people throw supplies to the walkers on top of the train the amount of good people in the world is truly amazing
Got an empty room in your house? Then... add one on. Never mind. The Brandon organization will simply evict you if you don't vote for him.

I honestly think someone hired these guys to make these videos to tear at people’s heart strings. No Brit is making it thru the Darien gap guided by cartels and recording it. There are no Mexicans throwing meds and water at the people on the trains. BS!!
Thats your response to people helping the people on the train? What are you even talking about?@@kayakeraltamaha5720

Yes. Tears here too
The ending of this video shows your modesty and humanity Mr. Bald !!! Hats off! An amazing experience and documentary 🤩👏.
Watched how it started and ended.. I hope the best for all caminantes!
Even the children understand the gravity of the situation they are experiencing. The little 3 year old was quite agile and determined climbing that train ladder.
parents should be arrested for child endangerment
I literally gasped when Bald started saying he "got lucky" in English right next to the imigration officer right after he checked his ID. He is very "lucky" the officer didn't know any English. 😂 I swear his videos are better than a suspense thriller! 👁👁
Wow, it's awesome to see the hospitality of the Mexicans, throwing food & medications to the migrants .
I went to Timmy Karter's page & I noticed he hasn't posted since the Dirian gap .
We wish him speedy recovery .
Nuff respect
Mexicans are the most hospitable and amazing people on the planet!
That's because they don't want them in Mexico they want them to get out of Mexico
@@pete25901 With or without the food & medications those people threw at them, they would have continued their trip just the same. They all know they're not planning on staying in Mexico permanently.
@@pete25901 weird ass negative thing to say
But thats not good, they are encouraging people to come illegally
I live in Arizona , illegal immigration is a problem. These people are getting here to panhandle at our intersections. Ive seen family upon family its really sad. Something should be done to get these people over here legally and turn them into citizens help implement them into the USA. The guy was right though they did all seem like great people who had their hearts in the right place its really sad
More should consider staying in Mexico as final destination. Many Americans are moving there too
Very affordable, less crime, Spanish speaking. Lots of reasons to choose Mexico
They want the big social welfare checks in the US. They don't care about safety, otherwise they would have already stopped in Panama.
It’s actually pretty cool to see how much balds Spanish has improved while he’s been doing this series
We DID miss Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala.
Bald has a real talent for languages
@@aviadilo so true
yeah, he became near fluent within 2-3 months, impressive
Ben. You will forever be a memory for those children. The simple pizza, the kind crazy gringos with cameras from Inglaterra, will be recalled maybe 30 years from now, when they tell their story to others of how they travelled to the "promised land"
americans are gringos. im canadian and my mexican roomate made sure to correct me about that. felt good to know im not a gringo. it doesnt mean white man, it has to do with the american uniform and go, green go. from the mexican war

So thankful I found your channel, thanks for the awesome content!
Personal opinion, this is the best set of videos you have ever done. A great view of this journey and story.
Agreed, for me it’s tied between this whole series & visiting that geezer in Chernobyl
This is CZcams at its greatest. The risks he makes to show the immigrants’ plight is Nobel peace price worthy and has never been shown before that I have seen.
Nobel …… 😂 overrated
@@biggestcomplainerhe is literally illegally crossing into countries to show the way migrants are having to cross with no choice?? very far from overrated ur username lives up to you👎
This has been documented many of times before bald. Although they are good videos informative and interesting certainly not Nobel peace prize….come on brother.
You know the best part ? I am pretty sure CZcams demonetized the shit out of this series hahahaha

Me get emotional, crying, for all this good people and as I always says to my friends Mexican people are very nice. honestly I didn’t expect to they through water and clothes for people on the train. God bless you all ❤
33:08 These people got nothing, yet they still share the water with bald. This moment moved something in me.
43:09 Bro waving goodbye to them as if he’s family. Beautiful to watch ❤❤❤❤
This is heartbreaking. And look what all those parents are doing for their children, to give them better. Nothing but respect. ❤️
naahhh thats incorrect. these parents are unable to support their children in their home countries, so they run to america to get all the free handouts they give to migrants
I do commend you for the way u put this together. It is a very hard journey for these people And you show how exactly how it is. God bless you and be well
I have watched all your stuff for different reasons, but this is by far one of the most powerful and inciteful documentary i have witnesses, I hope a very large platform picks this up and promotes the hell out of it. I know where I stand on the wall, you just humanized a whole journey that brings tears to my heart. I will pray for Timmy and do the right thing. This is award winning journalism. Excellent job.
They been better than any Netflix or Vice documentary
Yah, but Bold might be talking too much...saying Mexican Cartel take there money and usa and trump dont like them... He's wrong, we also get those Mexican Cartel and M13 from El Salvador cartel here in the States and F those guys... There are plenty of Mexican Americans still bringing families over here every day, we cant have every human on the planet to come to usa if there country sucks, go to Uk, Just imagine if there was a train of immigrants coming to the uk to take jobs and swarm the Social Services, Uk gov't would have a fit and make some weird reason up they cant be there. US citizens and Mexico have an excellent relationship, dont trust the news.
Why did I get really emotional when they started throwing the water and supplies up on to the train? I think it's one of those great moments of humanity in a world of constant doom and gloom. Cheers Bald.
They are Christians.

This series has been more interesting, entertaining, thought provoking, in your face REAL than anything the so called professionals have ever produced. My hat is off to you, sir.
Yep and since Baldy was kicked out of Russia the new focus on Central and South America has kicked it up to an entirely different level
