You can try and integrate the touch ID in the desk or the keyboard as well and I think that would be the best way to keep your touch Id

Neat idea. When I upgrade my desktop Mac I might think about doing this. However if you're only using the sensor and the logic board why not just build it into your keyboard. Heck if it's got the room for it you could probably keep the batteries.

This is awesome! Personally I would replace the Lightning port with USB C if possible.

I love Shaper 3D, it is so easy creating things I need with the apple pencil. The only thing is the pricing. Thankfully I can use it for free as long as I'm in college.

I'm certified in various industrial level 3D design programs, and the program which you used to design your case was surprisingly similar to "the real deal", it just needs the ability to handle parts with thousands of edits, and a built in simulation suite.

Nice, I've been wanting to do this but integrate it directly into my gaming keyboard (and additionally mod a usb port in it for a windows compatible fingerprint dongle since I kvm switch it between my mac mini and gaming pc)
