    Your throttle curves are usually used on helis. It's to set your rotor speed relative to your collective pitch. Idle mode just sets a throttle setting that doesn't move while you adjust collective pitch using the joystick. Normal adjusts throttle and collective at the same time with the joystick. Using these curves on the boat is a great idea. On my radio I have a three position switch. You could set each position to haul in the sails at maximums by setting the throttle curves to 0-100 on switch positition 1. (Black) Throttle curve 5-100 on switch position 2. (Red) Throttle curve 10-100 on switch position 3. (Green)
