I started watching him when I was 4 on an original Samsung iPad along with pat and Jen, I’m now 15, this man has done so much for almost everyone that had an iPad within the last ten or so years, it’s insane
2:25 that really hits hard, knowing that time is limited and when growing up, we have to give up old habits and be more mature (more or less), this line is such a good example, thank you Dan for the last 5-10 years of childhood, you will forever have a place in our hearts.

It’s so sad but so amazing. I’m going to be 18 this Friday..and I remember when his channel was new and watching him when I was only 8. Me and my friends would either watch it on my iPad during recess or I’d wait until after school. Knowing that I’ve watched for these 10 years and that I’ve grown with Dan hits me so hard. I’m almost an adult…and Dan has been a part of a large chunk of my childhood.

Idk why but I literally started tearing up when he said “you’re not kids anymore” I recently turned 18 and I remember talking about his videos with my friends when I was in elementary school and not missing an upload when he posts, I even still have the original DanTDM backpack. I don’t really watch your videos that much anymore. But the fact that you’re still famous and popular and still having new fans, is why I’m proud of you bro! You fell into 0 controversies and has never delved into sensitive topics that much. Every time I want to remember the good old days, I play your videos and start reminiscing of my childhood. No, most of us aren't kids anymore. While im still technically a "kid" hitting 15 years old, we have all grown. It's touching for you to realize that. It all seems to have went by so fast and it really makes me wish I was still a kid. All of the times I spent not worrying about anything but when my favorite CZcams where gonna post was all that was on my mind at the time. I have been watching you for 9 years, and those 9 years were the best years of my life. Thank you for everything. I'm not exactly sure when I started watching your videos, but they changed me. I loved seeing your newest video everytime a new one came out, I looked forward to it when there wasn't a new one. I sort of stopped watching, but you were a huge influence on me, and you helped me grow into the person I am today. Thank you for these 10 years, you helped me see things in a more positive light when I was feeling down. I'm glad I got to go through these years with all of you guys. This community is a beautiful one.
I'm 21 now, I kinda stopped playing games to focus on work and moving up in the world. Found this video recommended to me for some reason and decided to say hello to a big part of my childhood. 2:25 ... he's right. I'm 17 now. I never really wanted to acknowledge it but yeah. I'm not a kid anymore. I'm not the same as I was all those years ago. I loved Dantdm as a creator and he helped me grow up. I don't watch him as much but I treasure the moments I would run home and just watch his videos. Dan was a massive impact on so many of my old friends. He reminds me of all the good times when I was a kid, me and my best friends would spend time watching his videos. all theorizing all sorts of stuff about his stories.
now, I know I'm old. I'm not a kid. I spend a lot of time reminiscing on the past. who I was before, how I changed. I'm not the same person I was 10 years ago. I'll always love the times but we are different than we once were. We all changed over the years. we've all grown up together, while we started similar, we all walked different paths. Some of us better than others. We aren't the same as we were all those years ago. We've grown up. We're aren't kids anymore.

“you guys aren’t kids anymore” while i’m still a kid, i grew up watching you play video games. u r by far my favorite youtuber of all time, and while i don’t catch every upload nowadays, i love coming back to see how you are doing for yourself and what you do on the channel. i always dreamed of becoming somewhat as popular as you, and even though that’s not going to happen, i looked up to you in a sense of “work should be something you enjoy” but i’m kinda just rambling. this video, while a short thank you, made me tear up. watching you go from happy wheels and working on minecraft story mode to having a child of your own, i feel a sense of sadness as i grow away from watching some of my childhood favorites. anytime i come back, i will always enjoy you playing what you enjoy. godspeed dan

I used to remember on how much I love watching all of these videos that dan makes back then, I would often watch it after school and even try making a character of myself mostly reference by dan's mc character, though until now i still kept that blue color on me, but in a different shade, thank you for everything man.
