Terrance Lynch agree, the private sector is lagging behind. In terms of development. If the private sector really get on board. Especially with beautification projects. The country would be aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
@@evansparris6724 I think parts of Port of Spain do resemble Jamaica (Kingston), particularly their open highways and some inner city streets. I don't see anything wrong if these two happen to have some similarities. They're both in the Caribbean, things are bound to be similar.

@20:12 this is crazy. How do you have an intersection like this with no traffic control devices? In the US this would never happen, this is an accident waiting to happen.
I am an American living in Trinidad and trust me it almost never have accidents trini's have lived with streets like that for a long time and they know how to drive so no need for a traffic control device.

Not seeing a stop sign or light I would have assumed that I had the right of way and here comes a truck--he didn't even slow down so he obviously assumed he has the right of way too. I experienced this when I visited Grenada 2 years ago, people flying around corners driving into oncoming traffic..
@@DarrylBass What? I mean the tourist don't need to be driving like locals. They need to stay in the resorts and go out with a tour group. That goes for any island, including T&T.
