@@chrisphillip253Yes but I would not walk around that beast like it's just play time, they can just turn to the side and bite and whatever they bite, they take. I am sure we have seen the video of that guy some years ago that was standing in waist deep water, surrounded by bull sharks telling people they are not that aggressive as long as you remain calm and as soon as he said that one sniffed his calf muscle and in a single bite just ripped it like you would a chicken drumstick. The filming crew had to jump in and take his ass to the ER with his leg ripped to shreds where the calf muscle should be.
Josh rolls in. Uses bait bigger than I’ve ever caught. Catches 400+ lb monster bull shark like it’s nothing. What a chill dude. Freakin awesome vid. Thanks for the fun!
The species has been spotted 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) up the Amazon River in South America and dwell in Lake Nicaragua, a freshwater lake in Central America. Bull sharks have traveled up the Mississippi River as far north as Illinois and are regularly spotted in India's Ganges.
That is exactly how big I caught one in the keys on an inflatable paddle board. Dragged me for two hours over three miles until I waved down a boat and climbed aboard to finish the fight. So I feel you in the small boat.
Just about all rivers (and lakes) connected to the ocean have a good chance of containing bull sharks, unfortunately. Which us why I only swim in pools.
I won't step in any body of water that I can't see into. Atlantic ocean, nah. Muddy rivers and lakes, heck no. And if you go in the deep ocean, be in a group so that hopefully the guy next to youse ends up being the fall man and not you.
I only ran into this channel because of the strong men video but his enthusiasm is contagious. I have fished twice in my life and this content is perfect. Love it.
There have been bull sharks caught in the Mississippi River, 500 miles from the Gulf. They don't need salt water. I was questioning your sanity, since you immediately turned your back on the shark, after letting it go...
Bull sharks have the highest measured levels of testosterone of any animal on the planet, its what makes them aggressive. I am assuming they have handled sharks before as this is primarily a salt water channel.
Heather D. Bull sharks like the one he caught, have been as far north as Chicago now. They’ve evolved to be able to breathe in freshwater. They actually give birth in freshwater now as well. There was a bull shark attack on a little boy in the river in Chicago. I think it was a juvenile shark though, and the boy is okay. But yeah, bull sharks have evolved, and they’re mean and dangerous. They’re responsible for more attacks than all other sharks COMBINED.
Bull sharks can regulate their salt usage and lights recycle it or something they can go thousands of miles of river and while I saw something that said they can only live in freshwater 44 years that's BS because there's a golf course in Australia where they've been living in the water trap for since the 90s they started out as babies and now they're having babies in the water drop Can bull sharks the most aggressive sharks because they've got more testosterone than anything on the planet
A bull shark swim upriver as far as it's capable of getting they can live in freshwater for well there's a golf course in Australia where some bull sharks got into the water hazard in the 90s when the local River flooded as babies and now they're grown and having babies so yeah. X gloves River thousands of miles inland in the Amazon they go up to Mississippi to so I can go in a number of other rivers pretty much anywhere they can swim potentially any lake with a big river in or out they can swim up as well and they have more testosterone than anything on the planet so they're way aggressive and territorial
I tell you this all the time. You remind me of my days Fishing with my brother in law Kurt Olson He could catch a cold in 120 degrees. Nothing like Florida fishing ever. It's just the best around
Bull sharks can live a long time in freshwater. In 1972, one was caught 2,500 miles up the Amazon. Another was caught in Alton Illinois in 1937. There are reported catches in Lake Michigan as well.
And in the 90s several of them as babies got trapped in a water hazard in a golf course in Australia and now they're grown and having their own babies there's videos about that to it's cool story
François B. Photos I caught a salmon shark by the Fraser river it was 15lbs and it was 3 ft I let it back though for it to live cause it’s a female I didn’t wanna harm it
Wow Blacktip Hunter! What a great catch. I remember you since the days of extremecost fishing forums. Back I the days you posted your great fishing trips in Florida and you got these awesome videos. Way to go man!
That was epic, that monster in the river, I guess that's brackous water. I had several friends tell me with a straight face they had seen what they believed to be bull sharks working up river.. Absolutely and awesome video..
What a beast of an animal and definitely a river monster. Looked like a tough battle so fair play landing the beast. Respect with the care for the shark with the release, too many people let sharks go with hooks still attached so it's fresh to see your care for the animal.
NICE TO SEE THE CATCH AND RELEASE POLICY IN PLAY AND BULL SHARKS ARE EXTREMELY ADAPTABLE CREATURES WITH THEM BEING THE ONLY SPECIES WHICH SWIM IN FRESH AND SALTWATER AND I AM GLAD THAT YOU RESPECTED SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL. TOP CLASS VIDEO FOOTAGE.
Alijah Rothman josh would catch the biggest one since he has the experience however Jeremy has the knowledge but not the gear or experience to catch a 700+ pound fish
TH0r88 nope he got his ass handed to him by a 200 pound grouper and he used full braid on his conventional instead of mono as a top shot. Jeremy doesn’t have experience for saltwater fish
Soooooo awesome. I love this so much. I was worried when I started watching that you weren't going to just release and I was so glad with the outcome. What a beautiful big girl wowwww 😍
I grew up on the Indian River in the 70’s and 80’s and swam often spearing black mullet and catching trout near the power plant in Ft. Pierce. Probably wouldn’t do that now. Also, monster sting rays easily 5’ to 6’ wide.
Awesome video I grabbed popcorn as soon as I saw it

That is a bull shark. One of the most aggressive shark species... Brave guy!

Depends on your definition of stupid.
@@SueMeadSaw the video again... You are right. He is stupid. Just don't know how that shark did not take a piece of him.
I don't know there's a difference between stupidity and having balls man... A very fine line

hate to tell you this, but one of the most dangerous to man, sharks, the Bull Shark has been found 100s of miles up rivers
Not true. Bull Sharks can live in the ocean AND fresh water. Scary AF-
Thats terrifying! And look at how close they were to it in this vid🤯
That was probably the calmest bull shark I've ever seen.
He’s in retirement chillin in the river.

Sounds like terrible Tim story lol
Best was, "no click bait here"!! Nice catch.
If I know there are sharks like that in the river, I am not stepping foot in that river. Under any circumstances!
You'll have to swim in one that dosent connect to the ocean then
Life's to short to be worrying about sharks mate

They had a massive log they stepped over like a guard rail
A bull shark was caught in Lake Michigan about 96 years ago
Love how he holds the shark like a giant baby.... 😂
Why was it waiting near the boat like it was waiting for someone to get In the water lol 😂
Exactly
Good question.
Thank you for coming and talking to the anglers in Texas thank you for supporting us that made my day you coming and talking to us
7:48 “in a van down by the RIVER”
Talkin' bout size of the boat.." Jaws " pops into mind. Sheriff Brody,
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
I’m sure seeing these in person is terrifying the first few times and mesmerizing
Bro that was epic! I could literally feel the shark take your bait like that! Great shark! Great set and fight!
I had no idea sharks were in rivers... Cross river swimming off the list now! Great video, Josh! Heather🇨🇦

River monster for sure. Nice job getting the hook out and sending her on her way.👍
HA-Ha-ha I WAS GOING FISHING IN THE RIVER THIS WEEKEND and going swimming there too.... guess not 😂
tbhxnat unless your river connects to a salt water body. You are fine. Just check and see if they are native to your area.
Bull sharks have been caught hundreds of miles up rivers.
What river is this so I can be reminded to never go there
Bull sharks are in many rivers, including in the USA. This shark is able to live in the salt waters and freshwater...

Neon Galeose he didn’t keep it, he said he let it back in the water
They're in most rivers
