If your Telephone exchange has been upgraded from an old PSTN exchange to an IP system, you will need to change and upgrade your alarm monitoring system.
The main two differences in changing from PSTN to IP for your alarm monitoring system, are:
1) You need to change the Digital Communicator for an IP-based communicator - like the CSL DualCom or AMCO's LiveTalk
2) You need to connect your Communicator back to your internet router rather than your old PSTN telephone line.
