My favorite thing to do is F1 into command grab because it’s hard to react to and if they don’t block the F1 then you can go into the F12,1+3 or the F12 time stop
it’s so funny that geras playstyle has not changed from mk11 his runaway playstyle is still super strong in this game as well and with the one bar breaker makes him the biggest pain to fight
I've tried picking up Gerard but am doing so poorly lol. I typically like whiff punish or outspacing characters (reptile and ashrah are my mains even though reptile isn't really that good at it) but really wanted to try Geras 😢. I don't understand how to open people up.
The swaggiest combo I’ve made is meter burned sandclone doing 122 while I do f44 so that even if they’re jumping they get popped off the ground for me to do back 12 db4 f2 meterburn bf1, 4 db4 f2 db3 4 db4 f2 bf1 motoro teleport 4 db4 f2 bf1 motoro teleport 4 db4 1 db2/df2 it does 40 percent but absolutely the swaggiest shit I’ve ever done. Check it out it’s so noice king
The combo at 8:26 is not working always hell its not even working half the time, my geras is not recovering quickly enough. so i dont think its worth spending 2 bars over it. But the combo of that guy from twitter gave me a pretty good idea for scorpion cameo. i manage to get a combo with 1 bar 1 fire breath that deals 376 damage and gives me 2 hourglass charges. So thank you for that.
Great video man! But @8:35, that was 3bars of meter for that command grab setup.. you have to spend 2 bars for the clone, then 1 bar for the MB time stop..
01:10 bro this doesn't have 71 frames su.The su frames for moves like this,Ashrah stance switch,Quan portal ect that don't hit opponents are not shown for whatever reason and you have to figure them out on your own.The recovery frames actually show the duration frames of the move.
The same with something like Li Meis lantern or Kenshis stance change - it shows that startup is one frame longer than recovery, but in reality only one number is the whole move duration

You gotta know how big the gaps are in every character's strings, and figure out when you're allowed to rewind time or not

For f12 I think you can delay time stop to get it to work more consistently.

Can you drop a swaggy combo guide? The best I’m doing in game is probably 55% with all 3 bars and 2 cameos. But it looks sick so I call it worth 😂
There's some swaggy combos in the original Geras guide I made a few months ago, maybe I should make a new video specifically for swaggy combos
