John McEnroe captains Team World, consisting of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Francisco Cerundolo and Ben Shelton. Team Europe’s vice captain is Thomas Enqvist and Team World’s vice captain is Patrick McEnroe. Team World are the reigning champions after winning at London 2022.

I mean... depends on what definition of europe you use. The line isn't clear it's not like country vs country so I'm not suprised the team look weird sometimes. Like north americans and south american often have nothing in common on tour yet they are both in the world team.
