      There is a reach or convergence of the spread out Diaspora. I feel my Jamaican culture reaching for the American culture around me and the African culture where it all started. It feels like we're all coming home physically and spiritually. It's even present in the music. Dance Hall, Hip Hop, Soca and Afrobeat. Sometimes it's indistinguishable.

    When l was 8 in 1969. My father went to Stanford and my aunt went to Harvard and two of my uncles were ambassadors so l just could never fit in to a country that treated Blacks as second class citizens. I was fortunate enough to have such great Black role models l never looked as America or its White people as better or as my only hope for a good life. I finally moved back to the continent and live in Lesotho and Equatorial Guinea where my friend is a very high ranking member of government. I just wish l had moved back many yrs ago. My life here is so much better, l never worry about police brutality and even though the continent has its share of issues like anywhere else, here l feel more like a regular human being than l ever felt in America. I just advise others to keep an open mind. America is not your only option, since coming here in 2017 l have been to Russia twice, Dubai, Singapore, India, Trinidad and Tobago as well as other African countries

She's also making Hollywood deals, etc., but no helping the people she says she is helping, including the local blm chapters who many have filed complaints and letters that they have gotten no monetary support with the 90 million people donated. Basically, they took the money and ran. Perhaps you don't get that news where you are? One of the main blm spokesperson, Tamika Mallory, is also doing Cadillac commercials, because what better way to fight racism than marketing ads to buy Cadillac's? BLM is a global foundation (blm global network), they could easily set up in Africa and coordinate assisting people who want to move back, however, don't expect to see that. BLM organization is a race hustling money racket.

      @@KimberlyGoins The merginalized groups that were in Sudan were South Sudanese people who have now attained their independence a few years ago. There is no marginalized group in Eritrea because all Eritreans have their own land and tribe that give them a sense of security. Haiti do not have internally displaced people since its 90 percent African. African Americans are unique because they are marginalized and persecuted group and thats why they are migrating. So your theory that African Americans are migrating because of economic issues is purely inaccurate. African Americans are unfairly persecuted by white majority populations in the United States.

    • @KimberlyGoins
      @KimberlyGoins Před 3 lety

      @Uncle Ruckus Im not talking about migration, im referring to actual governmental policies aimed at vulnerable groups like the one being promoted towards African Americans. They are marketing it towards African Americans for financial gains. While large number of migrant groups might be present, they often lack official documentation making their situation difficult. Targeted programs towards poor internally displaced people of African descent is what I would deem a humanitarian campaign. According to the UNHCR there are still massive human rights violations in south Sudan even after independence leading to large numbers of poor internally displaced individuals. The number of internally displaced individuals in Eritrea is also large.

    You are not visiting neither moving, Africa is yours/Belongs to you, i´m sure it doesn´t belong to the Chinese neither to the European. I´m an African from Angola, born and raised. I love you African Americans, All Afro Latinos(San Basilio de Palenque, Colombia), Caribbean, Andaman Islands, Papua new Guinea...

      @Trevor Sode sorry I'm from Florida, not sure what you're talking about. I've traveled to Nigeria 6 times since 2003 and I always planned to relocate before I retire.
